Without this aid, the rebels would not have been as effective as they have been — they may even have been decisively defeated. Either way, there would likely have been fewer total deaths. How much does this aid prolong the fighting, and run up the death toll?
That equates to $10k per death, and that is just our cost. Surely there is a more cost effective way to kill people and destroy things. /s
You know, if you took that billion and split it up among a million US taxpayers, each taxpayer would get $1,000. But no - - it goes to al Qaeda.

At the cost of the weapons to be used, once odumbo gets to firing his (actually our) rockets, he will have given the rebels far more than a billion dollars. And don’t forget about the “advantage” the rebels will gain over their gubmint.

I can’t help thinking with outrage how Obama let the Iranian Green Movement twist in the wind in 2009-2010, denying them even moral support (let alone financial support) at a moment when they might have brought down the Islamic regime in Iran.
It is impossible to conclude anything other than that Obama actively supports radical Islamic rule in the middle east.
