Peter King is a major league a-hole
Stockholm Syndrome
Absolutely fascinated by the comments below the article. So many liberal hawks we have now.
Oh, the Washington Pissed. They are always for the Republicans. A news article trying to provide cover for the Democrats. Obama punted. Don’t blame the opposing team. No, I’m wrong. He didn’t even punt. He ran off the field to go buy a snocone.
“Peter King?” For a second I though this was going to be about Anthony Weiner...
Peter King is NOT a constitutionalist, a libertarian or even a mere conservative. He is a moderate or establishment Republican. I’d rather have him represent his district than an outright progressive socialist Democrat. But, we should never fool ourselves into thinking he’s one of us.
One of Barry’s water-carriers.
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the published headline, thx.
I confess, from now on it will be Rand Paul.
The Republicans want this war even more than Obama, that’s what really scares me.
Why do these fools play into zero’s hands, I think what congress should do when they come back, is to refuse to take up the matter of Syria, there are more pressing domestic issues, that have a higher priority.
Like stopping Obamacare and amnesty for illegals, then there is the equally important matters, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, NSA, Impeachment...by the time all this is finished Syria will have resolved itself.
Hey Pete, do you know who uses this flag?
It's the flag of the Al-Nusra Front, in other words Pete, Al Qaeda.
Pete, go to a cookout and shake hands and kiss a few babies, you ignorant bastard.
And this Butt-Crust thinks he is going to run for POTUS in 2016.
I already wrote to my congressman and warned him that I want no part of this mess. I reminded him that nowhere in the constitution mention this “responsibility to protect”. I also told him to ask himself if he can think of one muslim nation where we have actually improved the lives of the people. Plus I pointed out that there are no good guys in this fight.
I closed by telling him that Reaganesque restraint is a winning issue in the next election.
Others will question why the US can tolerate, for example, two million needless deaths from starvation in North Korea without producing a military response, but is chomping at the bit to engage militarily after the sad deaths of a few hundred in Syria. This last point suggests it is not cultural sensitivity alone that prompts US action,
btw, don’t forgrt the “Brotherhood” in Egypt.
And one of the standard answers that many countries take is that North Korea has nukes.
