Saying “leave it up to the states” is an all-too-easy out. Judges will NOT leave it up to the states. Conservative states will lose out. In a state-versus-state battle over gay marriage, liberal judges — and the Obama Administration — will side with liberal state.

The US Supreme Court just ruled against the state of California on gay marriage in a travesty of a decision.

Hah- you got that right!

That reminded me of a women’s health conference I attended in Gainesville, FL, back in the early 1970s as part of my new job in socialist health planning (didn’t realize that’s what I was doing because this was Nixon after all who signed it into law). I was a new Mom, too (with a husband who was the father of the baby).

Unbeknownst to me, this conference turned out to be organized & promoted by the indigenous lesbians of the U. of Florida. Rita Mae Brown was the keynote speaker, whom I had never heard of, so had no idea what was about to happen when she started strutting about the stage in an obvious attempt to seduce the women in the audience. Talk about gender bender shock! Didn’t know what hit me - this was another recruitment tool of the Leftie Lessies.

The women I talked to were lesbians by choice, no use for men at all. I asked about babies, and one woman was very excited to tell me about this company in France that was shipping rabbits to America implanted with human embryos. I didn’t believe that was possible, but she was convinced this was going to be a real option for her & her partner. Science in Action, tet68!

It’s not surprising to see the soft sell & hard intimidation work so well over the ensuing decades since that conference - the Academia, the Media, the corporations, and govt. bureaucracies have been thoroughly infiltrated. Poster child Ellen Degeneres (who really does look like a little pre-teen boy) puts on a good show for you to believe she’s just like you, but trust me, she ain’t.

I firmly believe that God knows what he is doing in condemning this behavior. It truly is injurious to mental, physical and spiritual health. Plus, it’s just not right for the children who are actively or passively subjected to it, and don’t we care about the children???

“not something to be decided by a show of hands.”

It’s decide by GOD, you rat

“Freedom means freedom for everyone. That means that all families—regardless of how they look or how they are made—all families are entitled to the same rights, privileges and protections as every other.”

What if one of the partners has fur and a muzzle? What if one is 6 years old or is made of plastic?

LOL! Is ANYONE fooled by Liz Cheney’s phony declaration of being against same-sex marriage? Did she put her sister Mary up to this faux outrage for publicity? Mrs Montag thinks so.

Basically, one immoral sexual relationship recognizing another. Yep, I’m sure that’s going on. And, since new homosexuals are coerced, not born, that is evil since it injures, and in many cases injures all the way to death.

Mary, if freedom is really important to you then condemn and legally help business owners & religous orgs under legal threat from gay rights activists.

Likewise, a wife does not have a wife, or she is not a wife! A woman requires one thing to be a wife, that is a husband. Can’t have one without the other. Same goes for husbands!

I am so sick and tired of hearing the media say Her wife, or His husband. Both are so rediculously flawed statements, you wanna just slap the media person speaking them.

That’s absolutely right.

Until folks begin to fiercely vet these candidates by the plumb line of principle, there’s no hope for the republic.

Cheney is pulling a Romney, she is just suddenly reversing her positions after years of promoting them.

Liz Cheney was early in her support for gay marriage and the homosexual agenda, including at the federal level and for the military.

She wanted DADT ended and rejoiced when it was, she was against DOMA, is against a constitutional amendment to save marriage, and supports gay marriage, and supports the State department move to the gay agenda.

After 46 years of life and politics, and being a member of the Romney campaign where she never expressed a pro-life belief, she has also suddenly become “strongly pro-life”, just for this campaign.

Liz is pro-choice on queer marriage, “let the states decide”. Mary thinks the courts should issue a fiat legalizing it nationwide.

Mary is trying to help her sister with this statement not hurt her, don’t get suckered in. Think about that.

Mike Enzi is actually AGAINST gay marriage, not pro-choice on it like Liz.

Seen on TV coverage of the anti-gay-marriage rally in Paris: signs saying (if I'm remembering this right): "Nous sommes plus gai sans mariage." = "We're gayer without marriage."

Gay antimarriage protesters!

At least they're --- for whatever reason --- in touch with one basic truth, which is that society has no business recognizing, licensing, valorizing or regulating nonprocreative relationships. Why? Because such pairings have no wider social benefit or interest: they involve nobody but their own consenting-adult selves.

BTW, the HUGE French anti-ay-marriage movement is basically centered on pro-children's rights.

Un Pere, Une Mere,
C'est elementaire!

“that marriage was “not something to be decided by a show of hands.”

As far as the state is concerned it’s nothing else but something decided by a show of hands. The hands could belong to judges, pols, or the voting majority. Who knows what other impossibilities will be decided by the state as being a marriage in 50 years.

Freegards
