Theres a broad naivete in the political class about Americas obligations in foreign policy issues, and scary simplicity about the effects that employing American military power can achieve, said retired Lt. Gen. Gregory S. Newbold, who served as director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the run-up to the Iraq war, noting that many of his contemporaries are alarmed by the plan.
New cycle of attacks?
Marine Lt. Col. Gordon Miller, a fellow at the Center for a New American Security, warned this week of potentially devastating consequences, including a fresh round of chemical weapons attacks and a military response by Israel.
If President [Bashar al-Assad] were to absorb the strikes and use chemical weapons again, this would be a significant blow to the United States credibility and it would be compelled to escalate the assault on Syria to achieve the original objectives, Miller wrote in a commentary for the think tank.

Killing Syrians to take the spotlight off the Democrats incompetence in all areas of governance is a crime.

Then good on them, FRiend! I hope their example emboldens others. Casting my mind back to my time of my own military service, I knew a lot of officers - some good, a few bad - but many excellent. I think the tradition of officers like Billy Mitchell still runs strong in the U.S. Military. God knows - our men and women in the armed forces do an exemplary job in perilous conditions everywhere they're sent - I can't believe they won't speak up against the misbegotten regime now in power.

I truly pray that more of them do! It reminds me of the book of Exodus: The more they are oppressed the more they multiply!
A simple principle, yet through time, Gods principles hold true.
The one principle that bugs me is this: There has never been a country that has embraced the homosexual agenda, that has not been wiped off the face of the map. Gods laws are for all generations. The Messiah said that if you love me you will keep my Laws.

Exactly! General acceptance of homosexuality is emblematic of a society in decay. It portends imminent disaster for our Nation.

Shhhhh - Zero and his folks are hot under the collar for this type “leak”. It’s OK for them to give a heads up about where we intend to bomb and how limited and short the “campaign” will be, but when actual, fact-based concerns are raised, it constitutes a problem...

I’m afraid if I were one of the people that is going to program the ALCMs, the Tomahawks, and whatever else CMs Obama is gonna let fly, I’d make a few mistakes and target the MB Rebels...maybe a few in Benghazi, too for good measure....

I want to know why he isnt launching military strikes against Chicago. Maybe even Zero is smart enough to realize that Chicago is a lost cause.

I’d make more than a few. Technical problems with the targeting program, of course!
