Our fearless, decisive leader...punked and derided this morning on FaceBook by Assad's 11-year-old son.

Of course you haven’t, blue lips.
Making decisions is what you hired Valerie Jarrett to do.

I have to give Cameron credit for listening to Parliament.
I still won’t vote for him because of the gay marriage crap, but he has poked Bambi in the eye on this one.

[Mister Obama]
stressed that this kind of attack threatens our national security interests by violating well-established international norms against the use of chemical weapons by further threatening friends and allies of ours in the region, like Israel and Turkey and Jordan, and it increases the risk that chemical weapons will be used in the future and fall into the hands of terrorists who might use them against us. However (and more likely), from the WSJ a few days earlier...So what is the purpose of a U.S. attack? Mr. Carney ... added that the U.S. had a national security interest that Assad's use of chemical weapons "not go unanswered." This is another way of saying that the attacks are primarily about making a political statement, and vindicating President Obama's ill-considered promise of "consequences," rather than materially degrading Assad's ability to continue to wage war against his own people.
May I recommend a NAME for this potential operation?
Perhaps you recall the successful "Shock and Awe" from Dubya.
Well, for this operation, I suggest...
... OPERATION STRUT AND BLUSTER!
And, all humor aside, the big worry to this observer is not what it will or will not accomplish, my worry the wholly unnecessary reprisals that it might provoke. And, if reprisals are taken by the bad guys and/or their evil buddies, then the stakes become instantly elevated and the chance for facing a forced choice between either escalation or humiliation becomes greater. Dubya had, and has, a much greater wisdom on such critical matters.
BTW, as a proud Dad of a one currently serving, I sincerely, sincerely hope that (if actions are taken) no Americans are injured.

Mr. Obama will have some warehouses blown up in the middle of the night when fewer people are there and will say THAT is where the chemicals came from.
That will IMO be the limited response or at least a good part of it.

He just doesn’t know how it works.
He thinks the prez gets in there, ignores the constitution, does whatever he wants to do with the military including treating them like a private mercenary force
It’s how he does the high living thing. He thinks he can take 4 or 5 multi million $ vacations every year with other people’s money. This is how he thinks wealthy people live
But now he ‘s finding out that it just doesn’t ‘t work that way. There’s push back, denial, and there are anticipated consequences
That’s how I see his behavior
Benghazi. They have no respect for him
