On October 7, 2012, Dash posted an endorsement of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney on her Twitter account. In response to this, other Twitter followers responded with criticism, racial epithets, and calls for her to commit suicide.
She was later personally contacted by Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan through a phone call. During their conversation, Ryan thanked Dash for supporting the Romney-Ryan ticket, and told her she was “brave”.
Since the 2012 elections, Dash has made it a point of publicly expressing her conservative views. She criticized Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s trip to Cuba in April 2013. Dash asked her fans on Twitter if they “care that The Jay Z’s have taken the capital you have given them and funded a communist oppressive regime?
The next term is “Special American”.

I am outraged by the phony "racism" claims of self-serving leftist charlatans and con artists like Sarpton, Jackson, Obama and the rest. I am disgusted by the nauseating canonization of St. Trayvon the thug, and the silent epidemic of black criminal attacks on innocent white people which the racist media buries with depressing regularity.
And I am not shy about expressing my outrage.
But I am appalled when I see Freepers using the term "negro," which is needlessly inflammatory, plays into politics of the race-baiters, doesn't convert anyone to the correct side of the argument, and is in fact distracting from the very valid arguments to be made.
It's one of the reasons, along with the idiotic use by too many here of the insulting word "faggot," why I never refer anyone to this site -- which is a shame because there is otherwise so much value here.

I’m sorry but this is truly low-road journalism. Any crazy person can send a tweet, and the only thing that this article proves is that there are at least such crazy people in America, which I already knew.
This is not much different from endless discussions of what one guy who joined a local Tea Party group somewhere once said on a radio show. If that guy runs for some office and you are trying to decide whether to vote for him, sure, analyze what he said. But if the point of the article is to discuss the motives of the tea party in general it proves nothing.
You're appalled by the proper, scientific term for person of black heritage? Are you trying to change the vernacular?
I use negro quite a bit and have been known to use Mongoloid when referring to any person of Asian descent if I was unsure of their actual pedigree.
You can be appalled and offended all you want, but these terms are part of a proper lexicon. Just because a community takes offense to a term, doesn't mean the term itself is inflammatory. It means someone takes offense to it.
For centuries, whites used the term "nigger" to refer to blacks, and it was considered inflammatory by blacks during the 1950s and 1960s. NOW it's part of the black vocabulary in every day use, but some how it's not considered inflammatory anymore?
I'm part Italian, and I take offense to the term Guinea Pig. Does that mean that we should stop using the term Guinea Pig to refer to Cavia porcellus?

Maybe it’s just the lighting, but it seems she’s pulling a Michael Jackson. She seems lighter in some pictures than in others. And I remember her to be darker in Clueless.
