On August 29th, the day after the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, fast-food workers around the nation are planning to strike for better pay and working conditions.
Workers going on strike are demanding $15 an hour wages, mirroring the demand for $2 an hour the organizers of the 1963 march made.

No worries, if they did succeed in raising the wages to $15 an hour they could just simply increase welfare pmts so it will still pay more than work.

Pfft, I work in L.A. Even the mexican restos’ know how to make a burger. That’s why there’s something called free market economics’. If BK is closed, you go to Wendy’s etc.

No information doofuses have no clue what "free market" means. It's the engine that drives prosperity.
But allowing the useless not only to set their own salaries, but to demand the government to control how little they should pay for what they need, ain't it.
Just make the minimum wage for people who can't even make change, answer a single question about their country's history, or how the government works, make it $40 an hour and Hussein's(an Marx') paradise will finally have arrived.

Good, they’ll get to learn math in the process: zero hours worked times pay-rate = $0.

Don’t often use fast food joints so they can close down every other day as far as I am concerned.

The average young person works at McDonald’s for about six months, just enough time to get enough work experience to get the hell out of there and find a better-paying job. Anybody who hangs around there flipping burgers year after year is just a LOSER.
