President Barack Obama met with 18 city mayors to discuss ways to contain youth violence, quietly reviving an issue that once dominated the White House agenda.
The meeting was closed to reporters and none of the mayors discussed the session when they emerged from the White House.

don’t laugh about banning suburbs. There are plans to try to get more Section 8 housing in subirban areas.
If this happens, then more formerly nice suburbs will go ghetto. There have already been a number of suburbs around our cities which have gone ghetto.
Asians are not pulling their weight.
What is lower than detest?
Despise? Loathe?
Much less than even those. I do not hate him tho, very seldom in my nature. He is, JMHO of course, a huge POS. Would I could looses the dung beetles.
I’m sure the “solution” oblamer proposed was the disarming of the yutes’ victims.
“quietly reviving an issue that once dominated the White House agenda.”
Hysterical! Typical MSM nonsense to try and convey the impression that Obama actually cares about the WWII vet in Washington or the baseball player in Oklahoma.
When was this EVER on the agenda? I must have missed it. It would have been tough to squeeze this in between the government takeover of healthcare, attacking business owners, expanding food stamps by 20 million people, criminalizing Christianity, etc.
Problem solved!
Touth = Black. There were no comments because we don’t want to stigmatize the little darlings.
It’s not youth violence, it’s black violence. Let’s be honest and accurate.
Can anyone find a list of the mayors who attended? AP didn’t see fit to do that, so I can infer who went, but a true list would be interesting.
KC major Sly James was there (heard on local talk this morning). He, of course, “blames the bulk of youth violence on poverty, substandard education and gun access.”
Sly James is right, er, correct: Obama’s been killing jobs, education vouchers, and has been giving guns to not only organized criminals, but terrorists as well.
How about “frown upon?”
Interesting.
Note that the names, gender, and race shown in that list are that of the victim, not the perpetrator.
That said, looking at the names of the white victims, I notice one thing that most seem to have in common.
Facts are stubborn things, and the numbers are neither liars or bigots.
Quick math on the spreadsheet: 80.1% of the reported crimes from blacks. Males were 89.1% of the crimes, and black males were 90% of the reported males reported.
If someone in Chicago feels threatened because of some hooded black men walking towards them... perhaps they should. It would be a logical thing to do.
