U.S. spies certain Assad used nerve gas 'after intercepting phone call from panicking Syrian defence chief demanding an explanation from its chemical weapon military unit'
NOTE: FOREIGN POLICY is published by the FP Group, a division of The Washington Post.
OK, IF true (and that's a big IF), then the Syrian government neither ordered nor authorized the chemical strike. So why all this talk of war if the solution is to let Assad's people identify the rogue officer(s) and execute him/them publicly?
Another article for the Fiction Section................
This information actually supports the False Flag operation hypothesis.
This is damned thin evidence...almost invisible.
The same call might have been made if the rebels used the gas.
Israel listens to Syrian rf traffic from Mt Hermon, I wonder if they also intercepted such a call?
So they're confident that Syria was behind it, while providing evidence that they weren't.
Half assed cover story from the Phoney Regime.
This does not rise to the standard of proof.
And this makes our spying look effective....a win/win for our feckless “leader.”
Who but the most gullible among us believes anything they “leak” for his benefit?
Ping.

Then play the tape.
Make your case for war, Mr. Obama, because I do not believe a damn thing you or any one under you says.
This is a very strange source to cite as “proof”
Mr Kerry, if the Syrian Defence Chief was out of the loop on the CW attack, so was Assad! This is not a govt where a General who is part of the regime does ANYTHING without being ordered to do so
So this tends to confirm Assad and his generals were not the ones who ordered this attack
Smells like false flag, ever more
Gee what if this is true? Can’t believe anything from these people.
I can’t get the link to work, even on their page.
Oh, so it was an accident. Actually, that’s very believable—some field commander is getting over-run and gets desperate.
He wants to help Al Jazeera America increase their ratings..
Setting up is an understatement.

Guess what. EVERY single image of the tunnels which were in a guardian story that I POSTED MYSELF are gone along with the same various images on other news sites, including cnn, that speaks to the tunnels under Damascus suburbs. SOME small snippets remain on a few videos, but all they show is the entrance to one tunnel.
THIS:
http://shoebat.com/2013/08/27/evidence-syrian-rebels-used-chemical-weapons-not-assad/
is the closest set of vids I can find now and all the stories under the tunnel headline have changed including the one I posted. The western press now only showing dead bodies in place of the images that showed the tunnels. This is quite amazing.
This development convinces me even more that assad did not do this. They are setting up rhe news stories to conform to what the regime is saying, and doing the same in Britain.
I don’t believe a word of it. This is false flag on steroids.
“US spies intercepted phone call”....ROTFL!! Are you serious? You think they use version to communicate their war plans? This is getting to be embarrassing people.
How do we know the calls weren’t faked? Iran has demonstrated the capability to take down our drones through electronic warfare.
How do we know the Syrian military wasn’t infiltrated?
How do we know our own government didn’t fabricate the evidence?
The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Attacking Syria has no strategic justification whatsoever. We are backing a rebel force of dark age barbarians whom we have fought against in other areas of the world. Bashar al-Assad has been in power for twelve years, he is the son of Hafez al-Assad who held power for almost 30 years. He knows how to play the game. His forces were routing the rebels, there is no way he would launch a chemical attack and piss off the whole world.
Should make no difference to the USA. This is a civil war and the American people dont need to spend lives and money only to be hated regardless of which group of 7th century sand monkeys win.
Tell them to give us a call when the fighting is finished and let us know who won (like it makes any difference).
The entire Middle East is filled with low grade sub-human clans who hate each other and have done so for centuries. A few missiles launched by the Prophet Obunghole will not solve this conflict.
The USA will be hated if we support monkey A or monkey B or no monkeys so lets just save our troops and money.
