Cocamide diethanolamine (cocamide DEA) is a chemically-modified form of coconut oil, sometimes used as a thickener or foaming agent in a number of products. It has also been listed by the state of California as a known carcinogen, meaning manufacturers are required to include a warning on the label. I believe the exact opposite of everything California decides.
You only get cancer from this if you live in California.
Once in CA I noticed a sign in our hotel parking garage. It said the area may contain chemicals know to CA to cause cancer.
On an aside, I just received a shipment of Sodium Tripolyphosphate and now my wash is cleaner!
I already use Commercial Cascade for my dishes.
TAKE THAT CALIFORNIA!
Whew! I feel better now that I got that off my chest!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IARC_Group_2B_carcinogens
Substances, mixtures and exposure circumstances in this list have been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as Group 2B: The agent (mixture) is possibly carcinogenic to humans. The exposure circumstance entails exposures that are possibly carcinogenic to humans.
This category is used for agents, mixtures and exposure circumstances for which there is limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and less than sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.
It may also be used when there is inadequate evidence of carcinogenicity in humans but there is sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.
In some instances, an agent, mixture or exposure circumstance for which there is inadequate evidence of carcinogenicity in humans but limited evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals together with supporting evidence from other relevant data may be placed in this group.
The dose makes the poison.

I have visited! Arrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
Screw California.
Screw California. They once passed a law banning “dihydrogen monoxide” (H2O).
