An Open Letter to Scott Brown (great antiRINO article)
The American Spectator ^ | 8/27/13 | Jeffrey Lord

Posted on 08/27/2013 6:01:16 AM PDT by Lakeshark

Friday night, former Senator Brown, now a Fox Contributor, filled in for Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor. The Senator opened with the trademark O’Reilly “Talking Points Memo” delivered Scott Brown-style. Asked Mr. Brown: “Would President Reagan be called a ‘RINO” — a ‘Republican in Name Only’?” **snip**

To borrow from Reagan: Well, Senator, there you moderates go again.

How to answer Senator Brown? And for that matter how to answer recent attacks on Texas Senator Ted Cruz from ex-Bush aides Nicole Wallace (here, where Wallace accuses Cruz of “lying” to the American people) and Pete Wehner **snip**

The Reagan record is quite explicit about what he believed was necessary to, as you put it, “move the party forward.”

While that record has been discussed many times in this space, your Talking Points Memo — and recent attacks on Senator Ted Cruz by former aides to President George W. Bush, plus a recent (and yet another) attack on conservatives from Jennifer Rubin **snip**

(What's necessary?)
1. Clarify Differences, Don’t Blur Them **snip**
2. Move the Center to the Right, not the Right to the Center. **snip**

Senator, this is 2013. The ideas and ideals associated with the American Left have, as Ronald Reagan spent a career illustrating, failed. Failed miserably. The country is some $17 trillion in debt — and that’s before you get to all those unfunded liabilities of trillions more. ”Moderating” failed ideas and ideals as Governor Christie and others — yourself? — wish to do yet again is just begging — just begging — for defeat. **snip**

The answer is because the American people are now, just as they were when Ronald Reagan was in our midst, hungry — starving — for someone who supports the founding principles of America and knows how to translate those principles into policy.

This is a great, great read. Long but worth it. A full throated defense of Reagan conservatism. It will make you stand up and cheer!

Attention clown, chameleon Scott Brown is running
for Gov. of NH, or Pres, or the House,
or maybe Gov. of Mass, or maybe Sen. of Mass again,
or maybe as a Democrat, or as a Native American,
or perhaps ....

That article from Rubin was embarrassing. If only DC moderate Republicans could build up as much disgust for liberals.

Thanks for posting this article.

I liked the part about shifting the “Center” to the Right.

For a longer term perspective, ponder this:

The concept of the Left slowly taking over the Liberals is a concept lost on most people today.

Remember, it was Liberal JFK who gave us the Litmus Test that most Federal politicians in “both” political parties would fail today:

“ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK RATHER, WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY?”!!!

Like frogs in a pot of ever warming water, the majority never did realize that they were going to see our warnings come true - - - .

Radio Broadcaster Paul Harvey put it this way:

“WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.”

“or maybe Gov. of Mass,”

That one is out. The MA GOP (a wing of the MA demonrat party) is going to put up their stiff, Charlie Baker, to lose (again).

I've mentioned on these boards before that I feel Ronald Reagan was the last, great president this country has ever had. Every president since then, especially the one we have now, have lowered the bar as far as honor, integrity, truthfulness and Godliness. I compare him to the last good king in Judah as described in the Old Testament, Josiah.

After Josiah was killed in battle with Egypt, it took 25 years for Judah to fall and be destroyed after the kings who succeeded him fell into corruption and immorality. It has now been 25 years since Reagan was last in office.

I'm not making an "exact date" prediction about the destruction of the USA, but the parallels are strikingly similar, wouldn't you say?

Absolutely true.

The one we have now is so far off the charts, he wouldn't know what a chart was......

Brown, a filthy liar, still calls himself a Republican.

After 10 minutes of him and his vapid RINO performance last Friday night, I had to turn the TV off and go freep. He is positively a sickening excuse for a MAN....and it's insane to allow him to have the use of a microphone on national TV for an hour....even for a minute.

His first guest, a radical marxist female, made mincemeat out of him. He was almost helpless under the onslaught of her words. He's incapable of pushing back because he has no grounding at all in conservative (even GOP) principles...plus he's just interested in being mellow and amiable and looking like a pretty boy.

As far as I know, I was the ONLY one who reported on FR the next day about Brown's disgusting Factor stint. I couldn't believe it.

Governor Christie prides himself on being blunt. But in typical moderate style it is political timidity disguised as bluntness.

Christie doesn't understand the difference between being blunt and being rude.

Is that who that sack of crap was? I watched for about two minutes and then changed to the Test Pattern Channel. I didn't know it was Scott Brown.

But, to be honest, I only watch on Wednesdays and Fridays anyway.

On Wednesdays, I fast forward to the Miller Time segment, and on Fridays, I check to see if Greg Gutfeld is guest hosting. If not. Back to the Test Pattern Channel.

The former Senator mentioned his own disapproval of Christie’s not being invited to CPAC last winter and then… yes… rehashed those sacred and ancient moderate GOP totems of the “Big Tent” and the need to “move the party forward.”

LOL! Yeah. That strategy worked great for you didn't it. You lost to a fake Indian who was practicing law illegally.

Begone, you poser (poseur?)!

It's about time they started to go that direction. Right on.

Brown should’ve stuck to posing for Playgirl if he’s so all fired interested in moderates and tents.
