After I bought my car I searched for insurance, ALLSTATE, GEICO and Progressives came not in consideration. Travelers Insurance gave me the best quotes for my needs. USAA is also very good, but you can only get this if you are active military, or retired military or a spouse.

I don't know about that.
I'm a veteran (Not active, reserve or retired military -or a spouse of one who is), and they took me in.

USAA will accept any veteran their spouse or child as long as you can produce a DD-214.

One problem with USAA though-when I went to get insurance for my ATV they don't offer motorcycle insurance. They partner with Progressive, which I wanted to avoid just by principal. I actually had a good experience with Progressive a few years ago when I was t-boned by a Progressive-insured driver. But it wasn't a good enough experience to override my disgust of their political leanings.
