Tea party Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, are insisting that Republicans shouldnt negotiate on the federal budget unless Democrats agree in advance not to try for a rise in the debt ceiling when the fiscal year ends on Sept. 30.
This triumvirate of the Republican far right seem to have decided that they no longer have any obligation to engage in basic governance of our people through bipartisan negotiations and compromise.
Republican Sen. John McCain said the tea partiers complain that negotiations are back room dealings but seem not to realize that whatever agreement is reached has to be passed by both houses of Congress.
Governing wont happen if the Democrats and Republicans cant negotiate on legislation.
Tea party conservatives have recently laid out their continuing disinterest in compromise when a coalition of 20 groups of tea partiers sent the following letter urging Sen. Lamar Alexander, a moderate Republican from Tennessee, to retire: Unfortunately, our great nation can no longer afford compromise and bipartisanship, two traits for which you have become famous. America faces serious challenges and needs policymakers who will defend conservative values, not work with those who are actively undermining those values.

Well, if you’re going to surrender, please do it elsewhere. I’m not interested.
I didn’t say “surrender”.
I said we need to face the problem for what it is.
We desperately need to change tactics - that’s for sure.
It is easier that way. If you do acknowledge that there is a problem, you do not have to do any thing about it. just wait and it will self correct. The Jews in 1930s Germany refused to face the fact that Hitler posed a problem for them. And paid with their lives. Conservatives in the United States of America refuse to acknowledge that the Socialists that make up the Democrat Party and main stream media are a problem for them . In the end, should they continue to play the Socialists game, they will suffer the same fate as the German Jews.
One thing that you can count on as much as you do the sun rising tomorrow... old LLS will never surrender.
Why thank you!
The TEA Party might be the final gasping grasp for the liberty to save this country from the wretched nightmare of an Orwellian state. It might, or probably, is too little, too late. It’s worth trying though, it has to be tried.
Because the next step is an armed, probably futile, uprising.
Then its several generations of bondage and slavery.

So what are Baraq, Harry and Nance the "triumvirate" of?
VERY simple.
They are saying they miss Bush.
All the Bush deals and now all the Bush people on MSNBC outing themselves as libs siding with Obama(like Nicole Wallace) .
Remember ‘Miss Bush yet’ ???
Now you know the meaning.
Sorry OWF, I forgot to include you. I just posted

The RATS are panicked. Their tears and fears taste and smell like honeysuckle and I need MORE! MORE!
AHHH yes, 2014 is shaping up to be another 2010.
Dems see it now with Obama’s low approval as his inability to shape opinion. Their last hope against this is a gov shutdown that gets out the vote against Rs.
The above means that Obama’s last two years could be his worst as far as getting libs their wish list. This is poison to them.
Just like Cruz kicked him to the gutter for TX Senate, now Greg Abbott is almost assured of doing the same to him, for Governor.
The TX conservative syndicate's tentacles are growing far and wide, with our sister states doing same, and you are about to witness a Reagan landslide X2 next year. Then another in '16.
!) It is way complete fantasy to expect that the POTUS election 2016 results will follow an off year election 2014, especially before the first takes place. Too many variables.
Exhibit A 2010.
2) Dems will hopefully take a bruising 2014.
Wouldnt be surprised if Christie got the nomination and Hillary beat him and he became another talk radio host,
