Here are pictures of three teenagers accused in the thrill-kill murder of a college baseball player in Oklahoma.
The senseless slaying of Christopher Lane, 23, has sent shock waves from the Sooner State to the victim’s native Australia.
“They followed him, shot him in the back and drove off,” Duncan, Okla., police chief Danny Ford said yesterday.
“When asked why he [a 17-year-old suspect] did it, he said, ‘We were bored and decided to kill somebody.’ ”
The suspects have been identified as as Chancey Luna, 16, James Edwards, 15, and Michael Jones, 17.
Lane died Friday afternoon after he was shot in the back on Country Club Road just south of Twilight Beach Drive in Duncan, Ford said. He was pronounced dead an hour later.

They wanted you to think it was one white and two black to distract from the racial aspects. Except for drugs. I don’t think white and black kids mix much anymore. In the 70s we all hung out together. But that was when we had hope.

So if a white person was involved, that makes it a “less heinous” crime of “Murder” rather than the “far more egregious” “Murder+Hate” Crime?
I detest the entire “Hate Crime” concept, but it is galling to see it selectively applied (or not) by the media.
I used to “think” I liked Australia but now pretty much over the aussies. Some tough folks but they’ve been “socialized”. Unlike us heathens here in the US.

America was for a couple centuries seen as a good place, and respected worldwide. Much more of this kind of thing, and the rest of the world will start seeing us as an evil place.

Sure glad they shot him because they were bored, and not because he was white. You can fix boredom by spending several more millions of $ on basketball courts or giving them ‘rap’ music DJ lessons.
But you can’t fix the vicitim’s ‘whiteness’.
I wonder how boring it is in prison? Or, should I say, in the juvy home, because these are mere ‘children’ whose youthful innocence keeps them from understanding that what they did was wrong, doncha know?
They’re very sorry, now that they got caught.
C’mon, they’re just kids. Let’s make some excuses for them.

A Duncan jury will have no problem dealing with this case appropriately.

Death penalty and to hell with their age. This is a war that some of the blacks think is justified. This may be a war they will regret. America has offered them much to live for in spite of the past.
When we were young and told our mom we were bored, she put us to work. Guess that’s pretty old-fashioned. Now parents give kids guns and tell them to go kill somebody.

Plus they handed over their guns a few years ago without so much as a whimper! Makes me wonder if the Aussies can fold that easy, what will happen here when push comes to shove.

Our local news (SC) reported the story but left out any description of the killers. I pointed it out to them on FB.
