Impeach-Obama Calls Grow After Latest Benghazi Revelations
New American ^ | Aug 19, 2013 | By Alex Newman

Outrage and demands for answers about the attack on an American diplomatic compound in Libya intensified last week after Joe DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney currently representing a key Benghazi whistleblower, said in a radio interview that around 400 surface-to-air missiles presumably meant for Syrian rebels were stolen by some “very ugly people.” As fears grew that the advanced weapons could be used by terrorists to bring down airliners, calls for impeaching Obama over a wide range of Benghazigate-related crimes escalated, too.

Even before the latest news, numerous major controversies were swirling around the administration over the deadly attacks — the brazen lies that followed the assault, the conditions that allowed the killings to happen in the first place, the alleged unlawful transfer of U.S. weapons to terrorist groups in Syria, and more. In terms of trafficking weapons to Syrian “rebels,” even the establishment press has finally come to the conclusion that the U.S. government was indeed running guns from Benghazi. The New American has been reporting those allegations since shortly after the attack.

Now, however, the existing scandals are expanding, even as fresh ones are added to the list. Among the most serious: Explosive public statements made by the lawyer representing key Benghazi whistleblower Mark Thompson, the deputy assistant secretary for counterterrorism who testified about the attack before Congress earlier this year. Speaking to WMAL Mornings on the Mall in Washington, D.C., last Monday, DiGenova, the prominent attorney, offered a series of accusations and claims that made headlines around the world.

"We have learned that one of the reasons the administration is so deeply concerned, we have been told that there were 400 surface-to-air missiles stolen," DiGenova said about the attack, citing intelligence sources...

As much as BO deserves it, no one in the house has the guts to call for impeachment. The GOP is too afraid they will loose votes if they do. We are stuck with him...

No president in my lifetime has deserved impeachment more than Obummer, sadly I doubt it will happen due to the leadership in both houses of Congress.

Correct! Senate will have to be won back by Republicans and we have to keep the house. The only obstruction then would be the RINOs.

I wonder if obama is supporting the Syrian rebels because Assad has been protecting Christians?

Pre-Obama I would never listen to ANYTHING the New American or A. Jones said —never.

Now?

Yeah, uh....I might not believe it, but the truth with the Obama Admin is SO utterly nuts that I’d listen to ANY accusation.

I think the N.A. carries more credibility than the WaPo, now, in fact.

Lovely. Some of this crap needs to stick to Her Thighness, and badly.

That POS has skated away from far too many scandals already - her becoming number 45 is too unjust to even imagine.

You must be young then because I still think President Carter was way worse then Obama. His stupid sweater spiel and the long lines at the gas station should have resulted in his impeachment. I could not stand that creeper and I was 8! Obama is bad but Carter was WORSE. The only reason people don't think so is because time has faded memories.

You'd pretty much need 61 Republicans in the US Senate to impeach and remove the guy.

One thing I'd like to see which would be much easier to do would be a Sense of the House resolution that Barrack Obama was not qualified to serve as president.

I'm waiting for really solid confirmation of this claim. It was a big story last week but, as it stands, it is just hearsay. DiGenova is good guy (as I recall) but we don't know anything about his source.

There is a lot of lying going on with regard to that night in Benghazi and it is clear as a bell that a big Obama coverup is underway. Don't assume that disinformation won't be part of that effort. It almost certainly will be.

So we have to be careful. Remember: you keep the wheat and throw away the chaff. Not the other way around.

Obama is in bed with America’s enemies..........Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood!!! He should be impeached or forced to resign by his own Democrat Party!!! The whole world knows he is incompetent, anti-American and useless. They have not one iota of respect for him or our country!!! Worst POTUS in the history fo the USA!!!

Wrong...I’m not young and know full well about Carter and in fact am old enough to be your father.

My memory hasn’t faded. Carter didn’t hate our country he was and is inept. Obummer does hate our country and supports the very people wanting to kill us.

That’s a fact.

That is cool. Many people think like yourself that Carter was just inept. I just couldn’t stand him and still can’t. Although his Habitat for Humanity is cool but other wise I have no use for him.

Time hasn’t faded my memories.

Carter was a prince compared to Obama.

Now my questions.
What were 400 shoulder fired missiles doing in Benghazi in the first place?
Who was in charge of guarding them and where is the death toll of people who died trying to stop the theft?
How did the rebels know where to go to get them?

Why hasn’t someone else asked these questions?
Why didn’t they ask Hillary?

As much as BO deserves it, no one in the house has the guts to call for impeachment.

We are supposed to be a nation of laws, not a nation of men.

Even though the elites have always gotten away with more than the little people it is important to remind them when they have crossed the line. We must impeach Obama even if the senate will let him get away. He and everyone will know that the line still exists.

If we don't bring it to their attention, then the line will disappear and cease to be meaningful. Eventually we will all disregard law and order.

Don’t get me wrong, FRiend, I’ve no use at all for Carter, never did and never will.

We have a turkey sitting in the WH now and he’s supporting our enemy.
