Greg Quinlan of Parents and Friends of ExGays & Gays and the New Jersey Family Policy Council reacts to the news that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has signed a bill banning reparative therapy for people with same-gender attractions.
Quinlan, Greg (NJ Family First)He's just put himself in every living room and every family conversation to ban therapy that has no basis to be banned, Quinlan tells OneNewsNow. There is no peer-reviewed study saying that this is harmful to youth. During testimony we heard incredible, outright lies about the danger and damage of this therapy, all of it refuted and proven to be false. Regardless, the governor signed the measure that effectively takes away the rights of parents and counselors to provide the help.
According to Quinlan, people can expect that the governor's actions will simply embolden homosexual activists to do more.
So as they've tried in the ultra-Blue states of California and New Jersey, they're doing this in Massachusetts. It's been introduced in New York and Pennsylvania, he notes.
It will be coming to other states - so be on the lookout everyone. It's coming your way: invasion of parental rights and authority to make sure that all objections to homosexual behavior are stopped.
FUCC!!
So, Christie is a genetics expert now?.............
the sacred religion of the left, sodomy and abortion.
So Christie has made himself Pope now?
I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree on that point. Glad I don't live in New Jersey.
So it’s FU if you don’t like being gay.
Ban all therapies for genetic conditions! You were born that way!
False dichotomy.
Christie is greasing the skids for a 2016 run for President as a democrat..... or republican..... or oh whatever.
You can't deprive someone of treatment that wants treatment!
fatboy just covering his very wide ass because he likes to eat and not diet ... it’s not his fault .. just like the queers ... he was born a gluttonous pig.
More importantly, Christie's view is contrary to Holy Scripture (see Romans 1-2, e.g.). Homosexual behavior is also contrary to nature and reason.
Our political overlords must protect both the quantity and quality of their gratification supplies.
What Christie needs is Fat Conversion Therapy.
Being gay is not a sin, but the act of homosexuality will always be a sin. It is written in the word of God. No one, not even Obama, can change the word of God.
Love the sinner. Hate the sin.
Christie squashed the shark with that one.
These bans are clearly fascism. To test these laws, one could continue these therapies with full disclosure that they are not accept by the BLAH BLAH Association... Then they could sue under first amendment rights.
Mark Levin has a good idea about a con-con but the divide in this country is too deep to be solved by constitutional amendments.
Oh, so now Christie feels that he can interject his judgement and opinion in place of God in Heaven’s?
I have never trusted or liked the guy.
He is a powermonger who is willing to rub shoulders with, make his bed with, become attached at the hip with anyone who he thinks can advance his own political career and power base, no matter what stripe they are pinted with.

I think its obvious that the rotund New Jersey governor is paving the way for a run at the 2016 Republican presidential nomination and he knows that the RNC honchos will only boost a Republican that basically mimics liberal Democrat positions with a few small deviations, for show. Now Christie has shown that he is easily manipulated by the left, caters to those who despise traditional values and, to put it in the kindest terms, is no friend of conservatives. Another former GOP 'star' bites the dust, right along with Marco 'amnesty' Rubio.
