Five decades after President John F. Kennedy was fatally shot and long after official inquiries ended, thousands of pages of investigative documents remain withheld from public view. The contents of these files are partially known -- and intriguing -- and conspiracy buffs are not the only ones seeking to open them for a closer look.

Just beginning my freshman year in high school. Heard about it at lunch.
It didn't really sink in until that evening.

Lets have the public know exactly what time and on what street I will be on riding on in the back of an open convertible going 20 mph
The weird thing is that Oswald already had his Schoolbook Depository job when the route was announced.
BTW the assassination attempt against Hoover was in Argentina.

Most Americans have no idea that the U.S. government once issued debt-free money directly into circulation.
There's the assassination in a nutshell.

Lefties can’t face the fact that a Commie killed JFK, they so wanted it to be right-wingers.....Watch the CBS coverage, Cronkite kept alluding to “right wingers” who attacked Adlai Stevenson in Dallas, just a couple weeks before the assassination, he just *knew* it had to be a right-winger that killed Kennedy.

Oswald still acted alone. Which is why the front of Kennedy's cranium was blown off.

Yeah that is really bizarre. I mean how lucky could this guy get if he was looking to kill the POTUS? On the other hand maybe that is why he killed him. He saw the perfect opportunity and couldn't resist, but then you have to consider his whole commie connection and this coming right after Bay of pigs and all that. Just too many bizarre things about this assassination, then parading of Oswald in front of the public with basically no protection? If you'll notice, nobody seems really surprised in this photo except for the guy in the white suit, and Oswald just got shot. BANG. Where's the reflex action? Was everyones reflexes on hold that day? Everybody has this calm look on their face like they are out for a Sunday morning walk. On the other hand light travels faster than sound so maybe the photo was that at that right moment, a split second before the sound reached everyones ears although I don't believe that because these people are practically right next to the gun.
The whole thing stinks of a set-up either way.

JFK abandoned the CIA and a whole lot of Cuban exiles at The Bay of Pigs. They had a score to settle.
To: GrandJediMasterYoda
“The guy in the white suit” apparently saw Ruby coming and saw the gun, that is why he appears to be surprised. The others had not yet had time to react to the sound of the shot.
To: eartrumpet
Was that your child John or Jackie by any chance?”
Not hardly. Although I wasn’t really into politics then, like most of my generation at that time, neither of my children would have been allowed to turn out like the Kennedy children. In spite of that, I would certainly welcome the Kennedy’s back into the White House compared with what’s there now.
Even back then, we in flyover country were convinced that his death was for political reasons.
