In his impassioned testimony, the retired Marine said he believes that the recent push for local police forces to bulk up on military-grade equipment is disturbing and represents a very real threat to Americans.

Recall the Boston Marathon incident?

Armored vehicles, warrant less searches, shelter in place?

His last words were something to the effect that “there’s always free cheese in a mouse trap.”

Prophetic and entirely apropos to our entitlement leeches and those among us that thing ‘government will help us.”’

It has gone too far already. America is finished. We now are a dictatorship and it will be confirmed every day and King Obama will be retained as dictator.

“We also heard from Carla Gericke, the President of the Free State Project. She describes her group as, “a peaceful movement to concentrate 20,000 liberty lovers in New Hampshire.” According to Gericke, her group was also cited as a “domestic terror threat” by the Concord city council’s petition for a grant to purchase the $258,000 Leno BearCat vehicle pictured above. You can see the mention of “Free Staters” in Section 1, paragraph B of the application.”

Unbelievable!

You're right on this - there's high level strategic thinking behind a lot of this - stuff waaaay beyond Obama's pay grade.

Boston bombing search pretty well told us about that “army”. They sure as hell weren’t protecting us. And have no doubt....that was all via Obama’s orders.

July, 2008

Obama’s speech in Colorado - “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Cue in the Black Panthers, out on patrol at election locations everywhere in the more populous regions of the country. Obama would need just such a separate “security forced” because the concept of Posse Comitatus forbids the use of the U.S. military to enforce laws within the nation.

Dream no small dreams. Now, more than ever, we NEED “Stand your ground” and “Castle doctrine” laws. And what is under attack at every quarter?

This is no joke, areas which before were reserved for the national guard, or state militias, are now the province of the local Barney Fifes of the world. Armored vehicles, machine guns, night surveillance equipment, and drones which are more adept for a battlefield are being employed in the US now. In fact with this type of equipment, one would think chicago would have been socialized long ago but alas it is not because this equipment is finding its way into areas which do not need it. This is part of the suppression of rights which this administration is keen upon. First amendment, ha; second amendment, what was that, fourth amendment, we search what we want, fifth, take the fifth and we now use that in court against you, sixth, trial when we say so, and tenth, what are states anyway but vessels holding disloyal subjects on our land.

I saw one of those vehicles pictured at the link being transported on I-30 last month, heading South toward DFW.

What I found even stranger was about a month before the Boston bombing the ACLU made a statement about the threat of “militarization” of police, yet I don't recall the ACLU making any statements during or after the sweeps.
