A former clown reflects on the Obama circuss creeping Stalinoidism.
Im surprised, in the efforts to lynch the Obama Clown and brainwash other cowboys with sensitivity training, that the Obama regime and cronies have failed to recount one of my favorite Stalin stories from long ago.
After a hard days work, Uncle Joe blessed a Moscow circus with his presence. The clowns performed a bit that contained (what Stalin perceived as) political commentary obliquely critical of him. Yet the audience roared with delight at the funny clowns!
True to form, Stalin had his armed guards line up the clowns in center ring and execute them, on the spot.
Then, as a clever follow-up on Stalins part, he had the guards turn their guns on the audience and slaughter dozens. Call it a curtain call: it was curtains for all.
Oh, the dangers of mocking Great Leaders.
As a young man I was for several carefree years a professional clown and juggler. I also wrote two books of clown and mime performance routines which, in the tiny genre of professional clown literature, are what pass as standards (or so I like to think). Ive given a lot of intellectual effort to un-intellectual humor.

We Heil, thbbtt, Heil, thbbtt, right in Obama’s face.
“The rodeo fired the wrong clown.”
Curtesy freeper Argus.
Cannibals won’t eat you guys,
so you got that going for you.
But no. Obama proved his arrogance and narcissism once again by saying nothing and letting his left-wing buds do all the dirty work of attempting to destroy the poor rodeo clown's life, beating their chests with righteous indignation while black race hustlers shouted 'racism', as they do at just about everything on earth.
In the long run (I know, we'll all be dead) this minor incident, blown into ridiculous proportions by the left, will do the self-loving Obama more harm than good while giving conservatives plenty of opportunities to connect the word 'clown' with Obama and the left. In that respect, it may be a good thing, after all.
A “rodeo clown” is completely different from a circus clown. First off “rodeo clowns” refer to themselves as “ bullfighter”. Their main job is to distract a huge bull and keep it from killing a bull rider who is off the bull. They really are guardian Angels for the bull riders. A circus clown is out to get laughs. “Rodeo clowns” are serious athletes who have to be fast on their feet and fearless. A bull can cripple or maim you or kill you.
A “rodeo clown” will risk his body to save you. Obama couldn’t be bothered to wake up to try and save Americans in Benghazi. He made no effort to save white men in Benghazi. Does that make Obama racist?
No one called for a hate crime investigation when a rodeo clown wore a Bush mask.
I have to be skeptical of this charge. Is there some reference to this event somewhere? I just googled it and couldn't find anything except references to it in the rodeo clown story.
Does anyone have a link where it is documented that Stalin executed a bunch of clowns at a circus? Or is this just a rumor?
Excellent post.

I wonder why, in all the history of despots, not one guard has ever turned on such an occasion and gunned down the dictator.
“Cannibals wont eat you guys”
Taste funny? :)
Usually because the guards know that the dictator’s lieutenants will make sure that the offending guard died a very painful & prolonged death.
To send the message to future guards, “Don’t even think about assassinating ME when I’m the new dictator!”
IIRC, Indira Gandhi’s Sikh guards assassinated her for her giving the order to storm their Golden Temple.
What is our Sikh gaurd and where is their Golden Temple?
Check Alexsander Solzenitzen, if you have a spare eight years to read The Archepelagio. Pardon my spelling of words and names I almost never aloud speak these days.

LOL, yer a bit slow today. Choose one answer from Column A, and one from Column B.
A. It's a story meant to illustrate Stalinism, and the Stalinist way of ruling.
B. Stalin butchered over 50 million people. He had villagers beaten to death with iron rods. He starved families and shot them in their own fields if they ate even one potato. Every inch of Russian soil is drenched in the blood of absolutely insane levels of murder, and you want to know if this story is true? Yes, it's true - it represents the literal truth of the madness with which Stalin killed people. Whether clowns were ever shot in a circus is utterly irrelevent.
I did. There are no references to this incident in the book.
Having spent ~40 years of my life in the Soviet paradise, I have never heard of such a story. Totally out of character for Stalin to publicly display such brutality, he would arrange for killing thousands by his henchmen, stayed in the shadows himself and organized the execution of executioners later on.
This is an extreme example of brutality which, if true, would obviously have been documented somewhere. Circuses were and still are primarily a vehicle for entertaining children. To have executed the clowns at a circus and then turn the automatic weapons on the children in the crowd would have been an act which would have shocked the conscience of even the hardest-hearted Waffen SS troops.
My own conclusion is that this is a rumor at best and completely made up by the author at worst.
