As was widely reported this week, the White House has delayed implementation of out-of-pocket caps in Obamacare insurance policies until 2015.

The SCOTUS decision justified the constitutionality of Obamacare by rendering the cost of its policies to be taxes. By delaying out-of-pocket caps, the cost (tax) to the consumer will increase significantly for many policyholders. This amounts to a unilateral, White-House mandated tax increase which did not originate in the House of Representatives, let alone pass with a vote.
Can a FR lawyer explain to this humble engineer why this is legal?
Everything about Obama is Illegal...I would really like to see the passport he used in his 20’s - his college transcripts — a few other things...we know less about this guy than any other president in out history...that’s bad folks!
As if Hussein and the cabal of statists who give him his orders care about legality.....
Party affiliation (Democrat) and race (half-black) trump the Constitution. For similar precedent, see Zimbabwe.
Yes.
he wouldn’t do that, would he?
We lost it
Yep. Whatcha’ gonna’ do about it?
the question with a shorter list of answers would be in which actions has Obama actually followed the Constitution?
Obama has already suspended the Constitution, so none of this really matters anymore.
He’s illegal as is everything he does and there’s not one set of balls in the House or Senate that will do anything about it.
The American government has been castrated, our military has been used as a social engineering experiment, the LGBT crowd is running rampant along, racial divide is increasing, illegal immigrants aren’t breaking the law and are “undocumented” and the class division is growing.
Americans that could vote won’t and the majority that do are so damn ignorant they should be classified as retarded and their voting rights revoked.
Pissed off is an understatement. Guess I’m just a proud white cracker, hard working, earned everything I own, responsible, tax paying conservative.
52% of people agree with him on everything he does. Those of us that don’t are racists.
Didn’t Roberts and his boys call the individual mandate penalty a tax? Though this will make premiums higher, it doesn’t touch the mandate does it?
From what I gather reading on the net, nobody in his (alleged) graduating class (1983) at Columbia ever saw him, either on campus or in a classroom.
One worries that this is might be his biggest con.

The Law and the Constitution are superseded - Obama's Black skin trumps all.
That's not technically true. What the Supreme Court did was to render the "penalty" that is invoked against individuals who do not purchase qualifying health insurance under ObamaCare as a "tax." Not all of the "costs of its policies." So, delaying the out-of-pocket cap is not an illegal tax.
It's an illegal act--nothing in the law allows Obama to unilaterally delay the provisions of the law (that I know of -- the damn thing is so long, who knows what's in there?)
Yes indeed, he did. He did, he will, he would, and he can, so why not?
Are you serious?
Obama can’t suspend the Constitution on his own. Obama, Congress, the Supreme Court, and the military, by looking the other way and not acting, have suspended the Constitution. Those who took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and knowingly ignored their responsibilities are all guilty of treason. With malfeasance so widespread and entrenched, the back door overthrow seems complete. At this point, the whole eligibility argument is meaningless.
It might be time to water the Tree of Liberty. I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later.
