Huh, where was Obama and his leftist friends when this came out?
Where was the outrage, like there is for this rodeo clown today.

I'm not saying there should have been such a big deal about this rodeo clown, I just said it wasn't an apples to apples comparison to that
SNL sketch.
By the way, comparing me to Karl Rove is the worst insult I have ever endured. And totally unjustified. Thanks, a lot.

I just love to see that fart all old and decrepit now on that TV show with the two waitresses.

And yet you defend Eddie Murphy, while not defending the rodeo clown.
If anything Eddie Murphy should do a Charles Barkley(ala Zimmerman), and tell the NAACP and leftists to lay off the rodeo clown.

You obviously didn’t read what I said. I didn’t fail to defend the rodeo clown. It’s stupid that this became a big deal. I just don’t think it’s particularly relevant to a 25 year old TV sketch. Apparently the people of Missouri are angry about this. I can’t do anything about it.

Actually it is the democrat establishment in Missouri, who are mad at the rodeo clown, and you should be mad at the dem Missouri establishment for their outrage, of making a mountain out of a molehill.
Apples are apples.

Murphy was making fun of several things at that time. For some reason back then some venues and clubs were booking groups of which they had no idea what they played. It was almost epidemic. Reggae was so popular the groups were in high demand. Just being a reggae group was almost an automatic booking. Murphy was also making fun of Bob Marley’s living large after reggae took off.

I understand that, but why should Eddie Murphy get a pass, while the rodeo clown gets crucified?

I am not really defending either Murphy or the clown. I don’t think they need it.

Shouldn’t SNL provide proof that all “performers” and cast members have successfully completed sensitivity training?
Shouldn’t the FBI and HMS investigate these terroristic threats?
Shouldn’t the president of NBC and SNL resign immediately?
To: DallasBiff
Not really much of a parallel.
Gotta think it over a little more and get beyond the race angle.
