These guys were like Marines everywhere...they made a difference.
I LOVE this Special Story from WW2. God Bless The Navajo Code talkers!
((((HUGS))))
Good evening, HJ...((HUGS))...a very busy, but good day for you and Nana J.
You ready for a nap?
America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi! |

I need dinner, then we’ll see about a nap. The boys are here to sit with Nana in shifts.
The trouble is, that the US Army started this in WWI and continued using Indian coders in all theaters in WWII, including in the Pacific and Europe.
The Army doesn’t spend time on shaping public relations though.
Publicity created this, and somehow a Marine radio man who was doing the same job, but using his Navajo language, became something unique and heroic compared to the other Marine radio guy using the regular code.
Such an interesting story! I never knew much about them till the last few years!
Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...commute go well? Feeling better?
Beautiful sunny day here.
Why Thank You...
and I JUST got in from work, too! :-)
Good evening, ansel12...thank you for more of the story.
