to another guy at Stratfor
and the reader is left
to simply accept that the Starfor
author has “inside sources”
for what he said, and yet

as for the “witch hunt” claim

that coould be a matter of
interpretation AND contezt

is it not within the purview
of the CIA director to try
to find from where,
in the intelligence community,
information that is supposed
to be secret is leaked,
to reporters???

of course a private intelligence
outfit like Startfor is DEPENDING
on people with intelligence info,
even info classified as secret,
to talk to Stratfor about it;
they make it THEIR business to
try to find out;

and of course Startfor would
call any attempt to find
“leaks” a “witch hunt”

specific claim in this story
against Brennan, there’s a lot
of smoke but not a lot of fire;
at least not yet;

IF hastings had something else
beyond the CIA director trying
to find where intelligence security
leaks are comming from (which there
has been plenty of), THEN this

This is not the first contraversy for John Brennan. During the 2008 run up to the elections, it was announced that 0 passport information had been breached. It was later discovered that the breach was an employee of Brennan’s, while Brennan was working for candidate ...

Brennan was implicated in an alleged internal email from private intelligence firm Stratfor, published by Wikileaks, as the head of the federal government’s crackdown on investigative journalists when he served as the White House’ counter-terrorism adviser.

The email was obtained from a December 2011 hack against the firm by the hacktivist collective Anonymous.

While the CIA confirmed that Hastings was working on the story about Brennan, the agency denied allegations that he was hunting down investigative journalists.

One of the hackers allegedly involved in Stratfor hack, Jeremy Hammond, is currently facing a maximum sentence of up to a decade in federal prison and a $2.5 million fine, under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, for his role in the hack.
