This doesn’t work all the time.

It’s the only temporary remedy we have and it works for most of us with regard to the sidebar, but not necessarily to pings.

Thanks for posting this, I noticed the problem a few minutes ago and contemplated making a post...but was too lazy :-)

Yeah, it’s a rascal.
Keeps reappearing almost weekly for no apparent reason.
I sent John Robinson a note, too.
I’ve noticed that once he receives the alert, it’s fixed right away.

I did that stuff three months ago but I have periods that last a few hours or a day or two where I only get 7-8 items at a time, like right now.

Please tell me how you send a note to John Rob when FR won’t work, and you can’t even use “Mail” to contact him. This happened to me last week and my usual source for FR being down was not reporting anything wrong. I thought it was my computer.

Strange goings on this A.M. Had to make some personal program adjustments at my local. Left site while making program adjustments at my local. Pings page has coding written at bottom of truncated pings page which though not new (have seen before) but did not see last week when this occurred. Will copy and save coding for future reference.

Whenever this happens, I’ve found that changing the brevity from text to headlines brings the sidebar back.

It's been working for me for over a year now.

Granted it does take a lil adjustment just getting 20 at a time. No big E.

It's better than half blank pages that never load!
