Bo, the president's Portuguese Water Dog, arrived separately on one of two MV-22 Ospreys, a hybrid aircraft which takes off like a helicopter but flies like a plane.

Yes, the dog is a prop. My kids would be so upset if the dogs weren’t with them on the plane. Those girls probably hate the dog as much as the Mooch and BO. Why on earth wouldn’t he go with the family. Wonder how long the dog lasts after BO is not president anymore.
