Thank you, Connie Lou! (((hugs)))
I love it when the troops’ mothers, sisters, wives, etc come into the store to buy crosses and things for them. I HAVE to say something if I possibly can. The other employees know this and will call me over if they’re waiting on them. :)

Conor...I know I will kick myself after asking this...but could you please identify the soldiers in your posts?
Are those Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods? God rest & keep them....

To: AZamericonnie
I think that they are more aware. They always comment on my Red-On-Friday outfits. :) They KNOW why I do it.

Good evening Laplata...we had GLORIOUS rain yesterday & so thankful for it.
Any drop of rain in the desert here is a blessing!:) *Hugs*
To: AZamericonnie
Indeed they are, Connie! Glen Doherty is in battle dress carrying the piece and Chief Woods is in Service Dress Khakis. God Bless their Valiant Souls. When the Enemy finally got into the Annex, they were enraged to find that some 60 of their number had been dispatched by only two men.
Sounds like an even fight to me!

The enemy was out numbered in this case.
Did you see the preview for the movie about "Lone Survivor"?
I do hope the movie does them justice just as I hope & pray our country provides the same for those at Bengazi. *Lone Survivor*

It was wonderful....and my Mom was very pleased at how it went. She only invited about 20 folks to the cemetery, and they were from various parts of my Dad’s life. I don’t think they all knew each other, but they do now. And she was most happy about having all 4 of her kids here at the same time. Everyone got along, a couple fences seem to have been mended, and my Mom is smiling. She said she felt him there the whole time.

Consummate knowledge of the local byways seems to be the only way to survive the “traffic messiness”. Glad you possess that knowledge.
We had several hours of really good rain today.

We have had several heat waves with temps actually making it into the low 80s....much too hot! And many, many days over 70 have not been so much fun, but the sun this summer has been nice.
Yesterday we finally got some good rain and am hoping for more over the next week.
