RE:”Unfortunately, it looks like the ones the establishment will drag in will be thoroughly unacceptable (Christie, Jeb, Rubio, et al).”

We cant help that nor will our voices change anything anymore than with all the others.

The other day pro-gay, pro-amnesty ex-GWB admin spokeswoman Nicole Wallace on Morning Joe says that she likes Chris Christie because he can beat a Dem.. He will get all those independent votes, assuming he wins his re-election in a Dems state, She said 'I love winners'

And his argument with Rand on national security shows he's interested, or wants to be seen as anyway,.

Expect trouble from him.

” 4) If you got a Weiner problem dont convince yourself you will get lucky and it wont come out.

Dont think that being a partial term Senator with no experience governing will get you elected just because Obama got elected, you are not a black Democrat running after GWB eight years in 2008. “

Good advice.

” The reason why I was sure that she was not running when mostly everyone else was SO sure she was is because she was allowed to stay working for FNC as a political commentator the whole year while Newt and Rick were told to resign in early 2011 by FNC management. They knew.”

EZ call.

The same arguments were made about Cap’n McQueeg and Slick Willard. Nothing but damnable ringers for the Democrat wing of the Big Government Party.

We SHOULD be using “Rules For Radicals” against the Leftists.

And why shouldn’t we? They have proven successful.

Of course, though most would’ve been astonished to learn of her opting not to run

I wasn't. It was clear when she quit as Governor. I was astonished that everyone seemed to think that was some kind of master stroke that would help her win the White House rather than what it was, her walking away from running for office to pursue other career opportunities.

I wish she would have said outright that she wasn't running for President than tease all the poor sots with vague maybes even though she was still under contract with Fox News the entire time and even after she had long passed the point where one could enter the race.

But still you had people fantasizing she could swoop down on the convention. The power of wishful thinking versus logic and reason. Frankly with some people it was an unhealthy obsession with a figure they had put on a pedestal unfit for any mortal human being.

Harding is maligned as the one of the worst Presidents, I have to rate him among the best, clearly better than the vast majority of his successors.

I don’t think any backbenchers will be getting elected President in the age of TV though. A shame cause some would surely be good Presidents. In the old days you could have dark horses or impressive flashes in the pan just come out of nowhere.

Cruz though I find quite viable despite his limited tenure. Obama was the first case of a President with such a small time in (meaningful) station since what, Wilson? He was a totally unknown failed US House candidate 8 years prior to his election. It won’t be as easy for Cruz without the help of the MSM but in the age of celebrity there is something to be said for striking while the iron is hot, if Cruz wants to be President he shouldn’t wait.

Rule 1: run because you love the country and the constitution it was based upon, believing that government’s purpose is to protect the people’s rights.

Rule 2: see rule 1

True, in fact Bushie Nicole Wallace who I referenced to you worked for the McCain 2008 campaign and was assigned to torment Palin with all her Dem light advice.

But trying to look at it from a non-believer perspective,
Romney was governor of a lib state but he didnt run for re-election because he knew he would lose it:
Christie will probably win NJ re-election easily which is another lib state. Slapping down GOP house members and then the Flower Child over that Disaster $$$ will help him do that.

That will set off much adrenaline with the Roves of party convinced he will pull a 50 state Reagan.

But dont worry as they like Rubio too:)

And, of course, they’ll just as simply ignore the facts that Christie Soprano is reviled by the base, not just for making kissy-face with Emperor Zero during the hurricane. The media will have a field day with him in the general, anyway, for being “mean spirited” (since we all know how pleasant and kind Democrats always are). Of course, he actually IS sort of a thug.

As was mentioned, if the Dems get behind a dark horse candidate for President, which could very well be Senator-presumptive Corey Booker in ‘16, a candidate Christie was afraid to face off against, we can figure who NJ is gonna vote for, and it ain’t gonna be the Krispie Kreme RINO.

Of course they will. We already have those “concern trolls” here on FR trying to sink Cruz.

“Not only is it a disgrace, it’s a cowardly disgrace. Anyone who turns chicken a** and runs when their country needs them most is no longer an American,”

Would you say the same thing about the founding fathers?

America has not been attacked by a foreign power. It is being destroyed by its own citizens. How else do you explain the reelection of Obozo?
I did not leave America...America left me !

4. If you think you are GOD or that there is NO GOD, then don;t bother to run at all.................

And if you do NOT believe that GOD was represented by 2000 years of Christianity; then do not expect evangelicals to vote for you!

If that is NOT true, then you deserve to lose, and the voters deserve your opponent.

I didn't wanna run anyway...

WHAT?

I wouldn't exactly call 2008 the OLD days!

There's no comparison between your turning chicken a** and running, and our Founding Fathers building our Republic. Granted, seven of the signers of the Declaration and eight signers of the Constitution were foreign born, but even they weren't expatriates, at least not in the sense you are. They didn't run away from anything. They sacrificed their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to forge our Republic. They sacrificed, fought, watched their countrymen suffer, and in the case of Thomas Nelson, even ordered his artillery to fire on and destroy his own home because a British general was using it as a headquarters. They created a free nation from tyranny, whereas you just turned chicken a** and ran away when things got a little too rough for you.

The fact that you would dare compare yourself to those brave and great men makes me sick to my stomach. Here's an excerpt from Rush Limbaugh's father's famous essay on the sacrifices of the signers of the Declaration:

"'Of those 56 who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine died of wounds or hardships during the war. Five were captured and imprisoned, in each case with brutal treatment. Several lost wives, sons or entire families. One lost his 13 children. Two wives were brutally treated. All were at one time or another the victims of manhunts and driven from their homes. Twelve signers had their homes completely burned. Seventeen lost everything they owned. Yet not one defected or went back on his pledged word. Their honor, and the nation they sacrificed so much to create is still intact."

What have you done to compare to the sacrifices made by our Founding Fathers, hmmmmm? Turned chicken a** and ran away, biding your time, healthy and happy, until the "unpleasantness" is over. Anyone who is so cowardly as to leave America when she needs them the most is no American. I hope you like where you ran off to, 'cause when we fix things here and restore the Republic, you, and your chicken a** fellow expats, won't be welcome.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

Sorry to bust your bubble, but the unpleasantness is not going to end in your lifetime, if ever.
The entire culture of America is being turned upside down.
How else can you explain the reelection of Obozo?
Comparing America of today to America of the founding fathers is ludicrous and pointless.

Being a descendant of Uncle Sam from 1812, I am still as much American as anyone, but as I said, America left me.
If and when a foreign power invades America, I will be happy to serve in any way that I can.
Using vulgarities to describe me is a bit childish and pointless. At age 68, I live MY life, not yours.

Good luck to you in saving the USA from being the USSA, but you can do no more then I can.
