Marilyn Monroe called Jackie Kennedy at the White House and confessed she was having an affair with her husband, to which the First Lady responded 'that's great... I'll move out and you'll have all the problems,' according to an explosive new book.
In 'These Few Precious Days: The Final Year of Jack with Jackie,' author Christopher Andersen claims Jackie 'knew everything' about Jack's cheating and turned a blind eye, but his relationship with Marilyn 'seemed to bother her the most.'
And she was right to fear the bombshell actress, because Marilyn's sights were firmly set on becoming the President's second wife.

I agree, LBJ was a monster and nothing NOTHING was going to stand in his way!
I suspect he is roasting on a spit right now.
Never...NEVER get into any type of conveyance with a Kennedy.
I was a tot back then but my impression from quotes and clips I’ve seen is that he was a spoiled, cruel, vengeful punk.
JFK might have had his problems, lots of ‘em, but he wasn’t a surly hater which it seems Bobby was.
I usually just skip over stuff I’m not interested in; I figure anybody has a privilege to post most anything they prefer.
Bravo!!! I am sick and tired of the Free Republic Post Police too.
... yet JFK & RFK were killed. Back then, Secret Service wasn’t the tyrannical force it is now (free speech zones, shutting down cities etc).
The gossip at the time was old man Joe offered her a few million to stay married to JFK, wouldn’t look good for prospective president to have a messy divorce...Jackie loved shopping and money....she went on to marry a billionaire after the president died...The pre-nup also was suppose to say how many times Jackie had to sleep with that ugly old man...
Surely your not blaming the press for his multiple affairs, drug addiction, venereal diseases and his many other lack of character flaws, are you? My post was not intended to be nice, only accurate.

Leave it to Texas to stand there gawking while an assassin of the President of the United States, is himself assassinated on national TV.
Looking sharp!
We take the death penalty pretty serious here.
BTW, it wasn't your cops, laws or courts who killed the assassin. It was another assassin who killed the assassin on national TV, as your cops paraded assassin#1 around for the cameras.
Oh yeah!
You’re right Texas sucks. Probably because of all the a-holes from California moving here.
I didn’t suggest that, you did. I was talking about an historic event, all played out on national TV for the cameras.
You seem angry and thinned skinned...Ya oughta have that treated tex.
BTW, I’m hoping that conga-line of AH’s moving out into your neighborhood continues.
Enjoy your bullet buttons, gay weddings, taxes, celebrity know-it-alls, and all the other craziness I'm forgetting. But I hear the weather is great.
Stop the crying and whining tex...You thinned skinned people get really old.
Thin skinned (again) and crying and whining. Is that all you got? I’ll call this a tie if it makes you feel better.
If so, Goldwater might have had a chance against him in '64.
Kennedys: Can’t Fly...Can’t Drive...Can’t Swim....Can’t Ski....Can’t Skipper a Boat.....But they know what’s best for us.
