If people including Samantha Geimer can look past the wrongs of Roman Polanski, why can't we also ignore the crazy bantering of Orson Scott Card? For gay rights activists, the crime Orson Scott Card committed isn't really a legal offense, but the wound is very fresh. 1) Orson Scott Card is "crazy",
2) Orson Scott Card has "committed crimes".
3) Roman Polanski has "wrongs" in his past.
There is no reason to discuss policy differences with these people.

The comments actually refer to the man’s words as a “crime” comparable to raping a child. Just watch: Soon it really will be a crime to express such an opinion.

Why Do We Boycott 'Ender's Game' But Give Roman Polanski An Oscar?Because those who make that lament are owned lock, stock and barrel by Satan.

For the same reason that Alec Baldwin is still a TV pitch man and Riley Cooper is anathema - political ideology.

We don’t need to support a Mormon, who possess their own perversions of both theology and behavior, in order to fight the perversion of homosexuality. It’s no different than standing with the Scientologists who also take issue with homosexuality. To support Orson, just because he shares with us this one opinion, is essentially to give his religion unwarranted respect and equality, when really it deserves the same condemnation as homosexual behavior and any other sin.

The bull is too stupid to know or to ever learn that the red rag is a cheap way to provoke him.

I recently saw the preview for Ender’s Game when I saw Despicable Me 2. Without any knowledge of all this background, I could tell it is a very controversial plot.

Ender’s Game is an intriguing book. I wasn’t aware it becoming a movie.
I didn’t care for any of the Ender sequels, though.
I’ll have to catch this flick.

"attacking gay people and their rights"
No. Not believing they should be allowed to legally marry is not attacking them or their "rights"

This is surely the age of hyperbole. Card "who is a Mormon," talk about your dog whistles for the standard politically correct religious bigotry of left wing haters. And then the caustic "long history of attacking gay people
and their rights," hogwash.
Our ancestors had a name for this kind of flagrant liable. "Obloquy."

LGBTQs and lefties in general would pretty much all condemn the so-called “red scare” blacklisting of Communists in the 1950s, yet they are nearly unanimous in their enthusiasm over blacklisting Card and others who dare to resist the homosexual agenda.
They are not “liberals”, they are simply brown-shirts and thugs.
