GULFPORT, FL - Gulfport police recently released surveillance video from a school bus that shows the bus driver's perspective of a beating earlier this month.
In the video from July 9th, the victim is sitting in the second seat of the Pinellas school bus with his head down. The violence starts as soon as he stands-up to get off the bus.
The bus driver, John Moody can be heard yelling for somebody to try to stop them and calls dispatch for help, "I got a fight. I need help in a hurry, I got a fight I need help in a hurry."
The punches and kicks continue, and the victim falls between the seats. At one point you can hear his screams on the video. The bus driver yells at the attackers, "leave that boy alone," but doesn't try to intervene physically.
Then he again calls dispatch to verify the address. "Get somebody out here quick, quick quick they're about to beat this boy to death. There's nothing I can do...please send somebody," said Moody.
According to Pinellas school bus driver policy the driver's first duty is to call dispatch, and only has to step in if they think it's safe. They're not required to intervene.
Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent has publicly questioned the driver's lack of action even after the offending teens had left the bus. "There was time for him to intervene and or check on the welfare of the child in this case. He didn't make any effort to do so and that's what we want to bring to the attention of the prosecutor," said Chief Vincent.
Police investigators turned this video and other evidence to the state attorney's office. Prosecutors will determine whether to charge the driver with child neglect.

Yes, a twelve year old white kid, Bailey O'Neill, was attacked by two older black students. He later passed away due to his injuries.

A 12-year-old boy has died after being placed in a medically induced coma following an alleged bullying incident at his suburban Philadelphia school.
Bailey O'Neill died Sunday, his father confirmed to ABCNews.com. Bailey turned 12 on Saturday. He was taken off life support Sunday morning.
On Jan. 10, Bailey was involved in a fight at Darby Township School in Upper Darby, Pa., west of Philadelphia. The boy was allegedly jumped by two classmates, one of whom hit him in the face several times fracturing his nose, his father Rob O'Neill told ABCNews.com.
"It was an altercation in the schoolyard where kid wanted to fight my son, and my son wanted to walk away," Rob O'Neill said. "One boy pushed Bailey into the kid [who wanted to fight him]. That kid then hit him in the face, then he hit his head on the ground. One pushed him into the kid, then the other kid did the rest of the work."
Bailey was knocked on his head in the incident, his father said, which caused a concussion. From then on, something with the 6th grader wasn't right, his father said.
"He was a perfectly healthy boy before any of this. He was a healthy, funny, goofy boy. There was nothing wrong with him," his dad said.
O'Neill added that Bailey was sent back to class with an icepack after the incident. He said the two boys were briefly suspended from school after the incident.

There is a formula that all the left wing groups use, they start a civil rights group, they get money from private foundations and/or federal government and they start collecting information of the number of incidents or crimes that the victim group iedures. Then they demand that something be done about it. The gays have done this with bullying but of course, they are trying to make bullying all about them, but there is no one who protects kids for being white.
Amazingly, not one person, has ever reminded the black population of the United States, how one of the first generation of slaves, became a fully recognized PHD. While the same generations left behind in Africa, were slaved, eaten or outright killed, by their own “supposed” people. Still, that same aftermath lives on today. Care to differ, on any point proffered?

No child should have to be afraid to go to school. And the hell with blaming the school bus driver, those feral animals would have turned on him.
I saw this growing up and was threatened many times. They always started crap in packs and terrorized kids since the time I was in elementary school. It came to a head in High School...when they threatened a friend of mine and one of them hit her in the cafeteria. I saw red...and acted. We all got suspended....and two of the girls eventually were expelled. And I was never bothered again and neither was my friend.
But even in grade school when I got into one of these ‘altercations’, the race card was pulled and one girl claimed I used a racially charged word (which I had not)....but the principal was asking ME if I had done so. Decades of this kind of kid glove treatment of thugs gives us this kind of behavior.
Thanks for injecting some sense into this thread. I guess some on Free Republic have abandoned their common decency. If I saw a young boy being assaulted, I would certainly intervene. I’m not worried about the George Zimmerman treatment. I’m worried about the Man upstairs.
I am sure we will hear the Justice Dept is investigating in a few days.
