GULFPORT, FL - Gulfport police recently released surveillance video from a school bus that shows the bus driver's perspective of a beating earlier this month.
In the video from July 9th, the victim is sitting in the second seat of the Pinellas school bus with his head down. The violence starts as soon as he stands-up to get off the bus.
The bus driver, John Moody can be heard yelling for somebody to try to stop them and calls dispatch for help, "I got a fight. I need help in a hurry, I got a fight I need help in a hurry."
The punches and kicks continue, and the victim falls between the seats. At one point you can hear his screams on the video. The bus driver yells at the attackers, "leave that boy alone," but doesn't try to intervene physically.
Then he again calls dispatch to verify the address. "Get somebody out here quick, quick quick they're about to beat this boy to death. There's nothing I can do...please send somebody," said Moody.
According to Pinellas school bus driver policy the driver's first duty is to call dispatch, and only has to step in if they think it's safe. They're not required to intervene.
Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent has publicly questioned the driver's lack of action even after the offending teens had left the bus. "There was time for him to intervene and or check on the welfare of the child in this case. He didn't make any effort to do so and that's what we want to bring to the attention of the prosecutor," said Chief Vincent.
Police investigators turned this video and other evidence to the state attorney's office. Prosecutors will determine whether to charge the driver with child neglect.

Seriously. I'm guessing that these "kids" didn't go from complete zero hostility to vicious group attack. They've probably been tormenting that white kid (and probably others) the whole school year.

When I drove a school bus, drivers were forbidden to touch any child for any reason, Telling the criminals to stop, calling the police, and/or reporting the incident were all that was allowed.

Absolutely, you're correct, but that's why they almost always attack in numbers which makes it difficult to stand up to them. That's why it's helpful to be packing. Today's yutes attack because they know that there will almost always be no physical harm done to them when they are attacking their outnumbered victim, and they know that there will be no white reprisal attacks as was the threat in past generations. That threat kept yutes more in check.
This film shows all that is wrong with our society. Black racism (likely), black viciousness, lack of control, cruelty, wimpishness in the face of it, and/or ridiculous rules in place that allow this brutality.

1 of the reasons nothing is done is because of the rules and laws restricting personal justice.
My mother taught in emotional disturbed schools for years, as well as city for one, and while she knew the rules, she also dared the students to tempt her in any way. She made them know she wouldn’t stop at the rules if they pushed anything far.
Back during the eighties I rode the big yella bananna to school every day. You didn’t see this kind of beatdown because all of us rednecks toted pocket knives to school and the blacks knew that if they messed with us that we would have gutted their sorry a$$es. Times have changed though I guess.

Haven't you read the myriad of articles by black authors after the Zimmerman verdict? Apparently, black people can't be racist because they don't have power. Even though Obama is President, Holder is Attorney General, and these three boys certainly had the power position over the lone white boy.

Do nothing bus driver be black, too.
Bus drivers are told not to lay a hand on a child, because of potential lawsuits. Times have changed so much. I remember when my bus driver kept a large paddle. A few times he pulled the bus over, took the child off by the door and gave him a couple of licks. Of course this was in the 80’s, the last decade where common sense was used in the public school system.
Somebody needs to keep track of these kinds of attacks. Isn’t there a civil rights groups out there?
All the civil rights groups whether they are black, Hispanic, gays, women etc. etc. have organizations that collect data on all sorts of real or imagined offenses. Without this collection of data there is no way of finding patterns of behavior. I think these kinds of attacks have become very common and we have to start collecting data and bring these things to light. A Philadelpia boy of about 12 was murdered on his school playground.
What if he had shot them dead in order to save their victim’s life or to prevent great bodily harm?
3 on 1 against a person who did nothing to them.
Typical cowardly behavior from the racist thug race.
If Obama had sons they would look like those three attackers.
