A wave of vandalism continued to mar some of Washingtons more popular landmarks Monday with at least three more attractions spattered with green paint, and authorities announced the arrest of a woman near one of the incidents at Washington National Cathedral.
The latest crimes occurred three days after the Lincoln Memorial was hit in similar fashion. On Monday, the light-green paint was discovered on an organ in the cathedrals Bethlehem Chapel, in the cathedrals Childrens Chapel and on the granite base of a statue next to the Smithsonian Castle on the Mall.
D.C. police said Monday evening that they had charged Jiamei Tian, 58, whom they believe to be homeless, with one count of defacing property.

She needs to be hung up by her thumbs on the Mall for a month. Maybe next time this maggot, Jiamei Tian, will think twice before destroying American History.
Amish Tea Party homophobe, obviously.
Whew...at first it looked like another Weiner thread.
“Tian, of no fixed address”
Sounds like she needs to be sent back to her fixed dirtbag country.
This is actually quite clever of her. She’s presently homeless and soon she will have a home - jail. And she’ll get regular meals and free health care too.
And she can defend herself by saying she is an artist exercising her first amendment right to self-expression. She’ll get 30 days and a Democrat voter registration card.
"I even checked the listing myself, George."
She represents the Green Tea division of the Tea Party.
How much ya wanna bet, by morning, there will be a *Free Tian* group with tax-exempt status and a charity fund set up for her bail and defense.
This may be a “minor” incident in the big scheme of things - crimes involving death and destruction and so forth - but what is the matter with people? America has become
“the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
As far as America being “New Jerusalem”, the Pilgrims had a vision all right, but not in the way they intended. More like
Ezekiel 9:4-6
4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Interesting in this context the mark is an apparent divine protection from harm where in Revelation the mark is of a demonic protection racket.
I wonder why she painted her organ green?
Good point. A demonic protection racket is only an illusion of safety and security. Fedzilla demands worship or else. We already know what happens to people who won’t prostrate to (i.e. debase their value system in accordance with) the beast system. They are harassed, sued, demonized, terrorized, audited or otherwise damaged or destroyed. Meanwhile vile and violent miscreants are protected species that may act with impunity, at least for a time.
Good observation ....in the scheme of things, not sure how the wisdom applies to someone of apparent oriental persuasion. She’ll get the sympathy card to play on us yet.
It takes on quite a lot of characteristics of a false deity, both in how it’s perceived and how it behaves itself and how it tries to present itself. There’s lots of lies, lots of impossible boasts, and people don’t even care, because at least it’s their own personal deity. This is the rut into which “pride in America” seems to be falling. Barring miraculous intervention (at the call of a miraculous revival of the faithful) it will not end well. I don’t despair however because God always makes a place for His beloved “in the presence of their enemies.”
We pity anything and everything now, without reference to a God who will put all things in order and who will give all good gifts in their proper time and who can be trusted to lead safely through halls of adversity (OK, I coined that term, one might biblically say through the valley of the shadow of death). It’s as if God hypothetically created a boneless chicken. It couldn’t fly.
This on the heels of the Pope’s latest controversial pronouncement.
“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” Pope Francis
