BALTIMORE (WJZ) A man is brutally attacked by a group of teens in Little Italy. Police say four of the attackers are in custody. Three of them are juveniles. ...
The suspects range in age from 16 to 19, but police say because of the brutality of the crime, the minors arent being charged lightly.
The fact that they broke this gentlemans jaw, the decision was made and they are going to be charged as adults, said Sgt. Eric Kowalczyk, Baltimore City Police.

One night a big group of bikers came in to celebrate, as one of them had just that day been released from prison. At quarter-to-one, the barmaid told me, "Tell those guys to drink up, or you'll have to pull their beers."
Suffice to say, one has to keep an eye on many different things when the "ball is about to go up."
;-\
There was a time when nobody would even think of disturbing the peace in Little Italy for fear of sleeping with the fish in the harbor.

Since the MLK riots of 1968 for evidence of what you say.
Guys on rooftops with rifles ensured the rioting went north towards University Parkway and not south into Little Italy and Fells Point.
The street gangs rule the whole city, now.

Oh please. Stay out of the open air drug markets on the east side around Hopkins and on the west side west of MLK blvd, and use your common sense (avoid post 2am solo walks).
Almost all of the murders and most of the petty street crime is centered around the drug trade in those 2 locations.
This never would have happened when Mimi DePietro and “the boys” were running Little Italy. Those punks would have wound up floating down bay.
Paging Colin Flaherty . . .
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
BING!
The Baltimore DA talked me out of pressing charges in the Science Center event. She was visibly upset that I had showed up for the hearing. I guess most (white, out-of-town) plaintiffs don't. She took me aside and admonished me that I'd be messing up a fine young man's life over nothing. It showed me where the city's priorities lie.
When you are used to no crime/blight, you really tend to notice it. And stay away from it.
“If you look at a crime map, incidents taper off rapidly the farther you get from that stop.”
That is exactly why wealthy suburbs west of Newark NJ opposed extending the rail line connecting NYC to Newark; they knew what would happen. Southwest of Newark the wealthy areas opposed having highway exits in their towns as well (using the same logic). In both cases they were vindicated by the crime maps you mention.
“A man is brutally attacked by a group of teens in Little Italy.” The benign phrase “group of teens” immediately told me they were feral Blacks attacking a White man to entertain themselves. Of course I was right!
For Trayvon, I presume.
wow, I remember driving through some towns down South and was really frustrated by the lack of HWY exits. Is that the reason?
Cripes, 4600 comments...
You know, I find it amazing that they haven’t run across that guy with a high capacity 9 with plus P plus ammo and two extra mags..
Statistically, they should have by now...
I refuse to be a victim for the ferals.
Absolutely, and you should expect return fire.
YOU MUST get the heck out of Dodge because the phone tree will be lit up and there will no shortage of ferals who will be moving in to get even, and they will be bringing “da choppa” (rifle).
If you are involved in a shooting in their neighborhood, the “community” (guns cached throughout the neighborhood) guns come out.
The sweet darlings look just like Travon.
“wow, I remember driving through some towns down South and was really frustrated by the lack of HWY exits. Is that the reason?”
I’d think the population is more sparse down south; here in NJ these are more densely populated areas where you’ll just drive six or seven more minutes on the highway to reach the next exit (passing through two or three towns in the process).
I hear wet grass.

Isn’t Nancy Pelosi related to those guys someway? Her old man used to be mayor, I think.
Nancy and Steny Hoyer started out as Senate pages together. They are both political apparatchiks who never held a real job.
