As part of a “year of improvement” portfolio at the network, NBC announced Saturday morning that it was developing a miniseries about Hillary Clinton.
In the proposed series, Clinton would be played by Diane Lane, though the part of Bill has not yet been cast. And while no script is complete yet, NBC said it would air the series before Clinton’s likely 2016 presidential run got going.
The series is one of four major projects announced by NBC—including a remake of Rosemary’s Baby—meant to up the network’s cache, with NBC Entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt that the they “need to be in the event business…. All of (the new projects) have their own event nature.”
NBC’s news entities are already distancing themselves from the project:

They’ll glamorize hillary through this actress’s portrayal, so what happens to that image during the long, screeching campaign that can’t be avoided?
Comcast is behind this. Comcast has a vested interest in getting Hilary elected.
The problem is that the NBC they purchased has declined precipitously since the purchase. One wonders about good people at NBC who understand the business. Perhaps they fled to other TV outlets leaving behind the dregs to solve the problems.

I heard this miniseries will not be covering Bill’s entire time as president. Fox & FRiends said this series will begin the year AFTER Clinton’s impeachment
I think the MSM-Hollywood complex was shocked that they couldn’t win for Kerry in 2004, they tried their hardest using methods they had developed up to that time.
Since then, they have moved into a clone of the German or Soviet media - with much closer ties to the regime and much more blatant manipulation of the facts.
They think they can dominate the nation with lies and “narrative”, and the evidence suggests that they are right.
We all know there’s only one person who can properly portray Bill Clinton, and that is Hillary Clinton. She’ll have to shave her mustache. I smell an Emmy!
A propaganda miniseries to support their candidate. A Republican would have to scrape up big stacks of payola just to get a commercial. The Democraps get a free miniseries...
If they can last that long.
Maybe Dustin Hoffman could play Hillary as The Flying Buttress. If what the Hillary character speaks is to be true to life, then about three fourths of it will have to be bleeped.
They note a Chuck Todd tweet for the NBC News “distancing”. Who believes THAT GUY?
Who will play Webb Hubbell? George Clooney?
Staple a wig to his head and John McCain would be a dead ringer for Hillary.
Apart from the Super Bowl, I don’t think any show has gotten more than 50% audience since the MASH finale.
I would actually watch that...!
