The news media controls most Americans’ minds completely as those 2 examples show. most Americans do believe in global warming . global warming is a Hoax. The Earth is not warming as the media and gov have been screeching for 30 years that it has been warming. The Earth will cool significantly in the next few decades because solar cycle 24 and 25 will be much smaller than usual ones. This is why they change the name to “climate change”. but for 30 years the media and gov have been screeching “global warming”

Hubby and I have not watched TV for forty years. I had my intelligence insulted by some airhead on TV for the last time, and
I threw the thing in the dumpster and never bought another one until we could rent movies. That is our TV’s only use.
I do laugh at stupid, easily manipulated oxygen thieves, and if that leads them to call me rude names, that's just more fodder for my ridicule.
My answer would have been a question: "what do you mean by AGW?" If you said man cannot cause warming or something like that, you would be immediately disqualified. It is patently obvious that the rise from 280 to almost 400 ppm is manmade. A natural rise was possible following the end of the Little Ice Age, but not more than 5-10 ppm from ocean outgassing.
Then the next question is: does an increase in CO2 cause warming, all other things being equal? If you answered no or maybe or anthing other than yes you would be disqualified. The key to my question is all other things being equal. There may be feedbacks that reduce or eliminate the warming and there are natural effects that dwarf the CO2 warming. But CO2 increases causing warming as shown by line-by-line models in the column of air is very real.
