Twenty years ago I might have taken that bet, but today I'm afraid I'd just be taking your money. In the early 90s, you might have still beat me by going the 405 route, but not now. That thing is packed 24/7 these days.
101 to 110 to 105 is a sure loser. Far too many miles. I could almost jog down Highland to LAX in the time it takes going that way round.

doesn’t answer question about the car’s computer....was it hacked?
If hackers are able to hijack the GPS/radar of submarines, cruise ships and other vehicles *as reported last week* why then on earth think Michael Hastings was immune to the vast evil of our federal government and their cursed ways. These demons know everything, if if they don’t, they soon will, given the right tools.

My point was that perhaps Hastings WORKED WITH the hackers to stage that explosion. It was preplanned and approved by him.
Meanwhile he’s on an tropical island sipping a martini under a new identity reading the latest about his staged death.
If he had just escaped from a Russian airport that would make sense. Only if his mission was complete ( and we’ve seen no sign of that ) could he retire to that island

That is unknowable, in the first place the computer has been reduced to ash and blobs of metal, in the second place the people who would do the forensic analysis are paid by the same people who would have paid the assassin, if any.
