Undercover Informant Plants Crack In Store Of NY Businessman Donald Andrews (VIDEO)

A New York business owner was targeted by local police after they became suspicious of his store. As a result, they sent in an undercover informant on two separate occasions who ultimately hurt them a lot more than he helped.

On the second visit, the informant allegedly planted and photographed crack cocaine, which led to the arrest of store owner Donald Andrews Jr.

Andrews operates a “smoke shop” in Scotia that sells incense and other smoking paraphernalia that can easily be used for other illicit activities.

Andrews' attorney, Kevin Luibrand, narrated a video that was shot by in-store surveillance cameras that appears to show the informant planting and photographing the crack.

"He comes in [and] places the crack on the counter," Luibrand said. "Crack, which under federal sentencing guidelines, would get him 4 years in jail. Under New York State law would get him 2 to 7 years in jail."

This goes to show you that there are a lot of LEOs out there that think they are the law, judge and jury (maybe executioner, too).

If the CI did this, he/she was told to do it. The controlling LEOs should be charged for whatever the CI is.

The victim/suspect should go free.

Don’t like that? Don’t hire crooked cops then.

Well, yeah, but we’re still not a police state, because it’s just more efficient to bring along your own evidence.

It is very frustrating to LE to have a criminal operation going on under their nose and be unable to get sufficient evidence to prosecute.

And that makes it okay to have a CI plant what they need?

Yeah, that whole burden of proof and innocent until proven guilty thing must be a bummer for LE

Under the utter corruption of the Obama, DO”J” and
the docile, terroristophile Congress, there is NO MORE LAW
in the USA.

Criminals know it.
LEO knows it (and corrupts Evidence as in Massachusetts
under Patrick-Dookhan).
Foreign Enemies know it.

Americans will continue to be targeted, framed, raped and
killed by all the above.

I was close to a case of this happening in Houston in the 1960s.

I had left a friends head shop and then a couple of hours later saw cops outside of it, after waiting for them to leave, I went in and spoke to him and his wife/girlfriend?

The (badly shaken) friends said that a plainclothes cop had entered their shop while they were in back and that while they watched him through a hole in the sheet-rock, that he had pitched something behind a display against a wall. When they went out to see what had been planted, it turned out to be pot, which in Texas at that time was a mandatory 5 years, they dumped the pot and minutes later were raided, it was a very close call for them and the start of many such tales, close calls, and witnessed events that I would accumulate over the years about the police and how they operate.

"[the local police] sent in an undercover informant"

What is an "undercover informant"? Sounds like a phrase out of Kafka.

Too bad. They’re not there to solve convenient crimes, they’re there to enforce the law. This outfit must just be extra stupid to use a guy with no more brains than this, and who really thinks he just came up with the crack and the idea of planting it all on his own?

May as well write the check to the business owner, put lots of zeros on it. Then taxpayers will have to pay for the cops incompetence.

Just an observation of what I have seen in the past.

And this has never happened before, nor will it occur again. This is but a flake of pepper in a bowl of purest cream.

Cops think all civilians are their enemies until proven otherwise. I don’t know when this happened, but I’m convinced of it.

If cops really cared about public safety you would NEVER see a revenue collector with a radar gun.

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them..."

False accusers should get the penalty that the falsely accused would have gotten.
Planting false evidence needs to be punished by life in prison. No less than that.
