President Obama is under fire for remarks he made after meeting with Vietnam
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnewsinsider.com ...
Too bad HE wasn’t.
Every surviving Vietnam vet, as well as the families of those 53,000 who died at the hands of Ho Chi Minh, should be at the White House protesting this outrageous statement by our un-American president, He is obviously looking for ways to insult the US military because he hates it.
Obama’s founding Fathers are Marx, Lennon, Mao, Stalin....
THAT'S being influenced ... ain't it ?
Actually in a revolutionary manner, Ho Chi Minh did reference the founding fathers. It was his manner of governance that was radically different. So on this one Obama is pervertedly correct.
Some days, keeping an eye on BO is like watching a train wreck
The wonderful men who gave several years of their lives in ‘jail’, as they, themselves refer to it, in North Viet Nam in the late ‘60s have to witness this
Perhaps the worst for them would be having relatives who voted for ghis garbage and aren’t yet regretful for it
I don’t know
Three and a half more years to go
Inneresting to see how John McCain responds.
He’s completely psychotic. Under normal circumstances, the things he believes would serve as ample evidence to obtain and serve a mental warrant.
I remember reading about this about 15 years ago. Obama is correct, but as you say, “Obama is pervertedly correct.”
Marx, Engels, and Lenin were founding fathers?
When you meet and hear the stories of the former POW pilots, you very quickly reduce any expectations of anything John McCain might ever do
He does not act like they do
I can’t explain it, and, having not been there, i can’t say why it is
They do’t talk about him bad or good, though one said good things about him in a book he wrote
But McCain will not say anything about this is my bet
oops . Obama falls off the Script Wagon again
What is most sickening about this foolish president, is he gets away with saying anything, except for tight circles of conservative reporting, no one will ever know about it.
A day or two more and it will be forgotten for something he says or does that is even more outrageous, on and on it goes.
Amazingly effective strategy.
If we could, just, get our dear communist reader to be inspired by the founding fathers.
Well, yeah.
Except for the rounding up of the political opposition and intellectuals in conquered areas (Hue) tying their hands with phone wire, shooting them all in the head and burying them in mass graves, then...yeah.

Just like the Founding Fathers.
The idiot Obama does not know history. General Giap (sp) of the NVA said that they studied the tactics of the American militia and the Continental Army during the American Revolution and employed those same tactics against us. Giap was surprised and amused that we were never able to figure that out. I am not aware of any commie Vietnamese claiming to admire the ideals of the Founding Fathers.
No no and NO!
This conclusion that Obama is correct is totally forced and strained. No need to go there.
Fidel Castro pretended to be what WE really are. But he was fooling people just to get in power. Would it then be true to say that Castro really was what he only pretended to be??
Same is true of Ho Chi Minh. He pretended to be what WE are, because he wanted a free hand to drive out foreign powers. He wanted our sympathy because we had to drive out the Brits.
That no more means that he was actually inspired by our Founders than Castro was what he pretended.
If Obama had said that Ho SAID he was inspired by them, but left open whether or not that was true, that would be one thing.
But he didn’t. He said that Ho WAS inspired by them.
FALSE.
The whole world can see that he wasn’t any such thing.
Their “Founding Fathers” were Marx and Lenin.
