Silda Spitzer is privately telling friends she plans to divorce her hooker-loving husband, Eliot Spitzer, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Multiple sources tell us long-suffering Silda — who, he last night admitted, will not be joining him on the campaign trail — “has had enough” and plans to start divorce proceedings after his run for New York City comptroller is over.
One source tells us, “Silda is telling her female friends that she is done with him. She will file for divorce after the [Nov. 5] election.”
A second source told The Post’s Sally Goldenberg, “Silda is saying she is going to wait until this is all over. She has been telling friends, ‘This is too hard. This is too rough.’ ”
Asked about the divorce rumors, Spitzer spokeswoman Lisa Linden told us last night, “Eliot is running for comptroller on his record and the issues. We will not comment on the barrage of stories about his personal life.”

According to a “Page Six Exclusive,” for the past month or so Eliot Spitzer has been staying at a Fifth Avenue building owned by his father, rather than the apartment that he shares with his wife Silda Spitzer. The former governor has a perfectly reasonable explanation — a spokeswoman says he wants to “spend more time with his ailing parents, who live there” — but nevertheless, the Post says the situation “sparks rumors.” What could possibly have come between the Spitzers?

I was thinking the same thing. Except I regard him more of a fool than a jerk.
Actually, it isn’t easy to find out whether she is rich in her own right (i.e., having had money before she married him). Most mentions of her money are in connection with work performed after they got married and the promising career options she gave up, or various mutterings about being “not rich”..... I can, however, find more than one citing about him using ‘his own money’ ($3M) to finance a run for office.
You are more than welcomed to give advice, it is likewise my choice to accept or not.

Perhaps she saw how pathetic Huma looked. People compared her to Huma.
Political wives = Political whores. She’s no different than the other whores he’s paying for; he will spending more for her social/political prostitution than he does for the high-end hookers.
The wife (left) is pretty cute when she doesn't look justifiably angry or heartbroken. The most prominent hooker (right) is both younger and cuter, possibly a better choice if you don't mind contracting the disease of the month from a woman with well-acted insincerity.
What really galls me is that they forward their “husbands’” careers while prostituting themselves. Nothing personal; just politics.
Spitzer is from a very wealthy family.
