There has been talk about having a new party, some have called it the Freedom Party. If there were to be a Freedom Party what would be the party platforms?
Here are some thoughts that I have and I would welcome your suggestions.
1) Based on the Constitution 2) Government that serves not rules people 3) Restoring power to the individual citizen, towns and states 4)Respect for life from conception to natural death 5) Respects moral institutions based on the Ten Commandments 6) Respect for the hard earned money of the tax payers 7) Protecting self defense and 2nd Ammendment rights 8) An immigration policy that is based on what is good for Americans
A third party has and can influnce policy. the prohibition Party helped to cause the Prohibition movement (that proved a failure) the Anti-Slavery parties helped to bring this before the national population. This is the respectible rational for a 3rd Party. Sometimes they even become one of the two, replacing a failed party, Republicans replaced Whigs for instance. The Freedom party is much more than a one note wonder. Here the people can see that smaler government can work without falling into ruin. We need “big” government for an Army and Navy, to keep up the big roads and to set standards in education. I see the best way to go as a return to the 1950s-—Smaller, less intrusive government. Or better yet—more like the Government in 1925. But not 1825. The States need to be given power to experiment with new systems—in this Mittens was right. the 10th Amendment needs to be enforced from abortion to welfare etc.. But, the states must pay their own bills! Taxes must be lowered and maybe congress put on part/time.
First zero immigration allows for a few thousands of immigrants for various reasons, as far as needing skilled help because America can’t produce it’s own, thank immigration for that.
America was doing fine a 120 million people ago. The United States is behind only China and India in population.
We need to end immigration, in your post you wanted to end illegal immigration and made a point of wanting our continued flood of legal immigrants.

The moral of this tale: As much as the Republicn Party has let us all down the answer is to change the party rather than split our forces before a determined and relentless enemy.
Mittens went libertarian to defend and promote his pro-gay, pro-abortion, agenda.
Libertarians also support the agenda at the federal level and all levels of government, from the school board to the presidency, homosexualizing the military, immigration, the FBI and federal employment, fighting DOMA and DADT.
No thanks. The 50's featured 90% top tax rates and the explosive growth of unions. We got away with terrible policies in the 50's because the rest of the world was still basically destroyed after WW2. Once everyone else got on their feet, it became more difficult to compete and we had to shed some of those awful policies of the 50's.
Tea Party is a movement—the Freedom Party would be an actual political party.
You are just looking for an argument. I said in my response to you what I want in regards to immigration. If you have an axe to grind so be it. But don’t paint me as your straw man. I don’t believe in the ideas you attribute to me. Have a nice day!
It sure looked to me as though you posted, no amnesty for the illegals here, but keep the legals coming.
Sorry, but I for one do not need a leader. What are you lacking that you need a leader?
Wrong. Watch a little real history, perhaps Monumental. Christianity played a major role in the beginnings and formation of this country.
