Back in 2009, newly-installed Attorney General Eric Holder called America "a nation of cowards" on matters of race. Based on the Presidents unannounced remarks on the Zimmerman case (the absence of a Teleprompter doesnt mean the speech was impromptu, despite Jay Carneys insistence that it was), Holder had it right, at least with regard to Barack Obama.
After announcing through his press secretary that he would make no statement about the Zimmermans trial (or, as MSNBC and Media Matters describe it, how the angry, fat, disgusting white guy stalked, hunted and killed the angelic child Trayvon, then used his white privilege power to get the all-white jury to find him not guilty, even though he's not white), Obama spoke about the Zimmerman trial. He spoke in the Press briefing room, surrounded by sycophants. And to ensure that no one exposed him, the President took no questions.
With studied sincerity, the President claimed that he had experienced discrimination because of the color of his skin. That he had seen women clutch their purses in his presence. That he had seen them hold their breath in the elevator. That 35 years ago, he had been Trayvon (fact: 35 years ago, Obama attended an elite Hawaiian prep school). The President delivered the story his (bought-and-paid-for) base wanted to hear.
The President spoke of how important it is to have a dialog about race in America. Fine. But race wasnt a factor in the case. The FBI said race was not a part of it. The jury said race was not a part of it. Trayvon's mother said race was not a part of it. The Martin family lawyer said race was not a part of it. So essentially the President exploited the case for his own political purposes (see 2014).
Nor was Floridas Stand Your Ground statute a part of the trial in any way. Zimmerman in fact waived his right to make that claim.
Presidents have used the bully pulpit to explain the case for war, to heal a nation after national disaster and to rally Americans (of all races!) to find and engage their life's purpose. For those who have never seen it under Obama, these are examples of leadership and courage.
Checking the temperature of the nation before making a statement, mis-characterizing the case entirely, claiming to have been the object of racial discrimination, and doing all of it in the womb of White House press briefing room; is there anything more cowardly than that?
nobama is NOT a coward.
He’s much worse than that.
C’mon. He is not a coward.
He is a suckler of affirmative action and the graciousness of America. That is what allowed him to get so far. Poor guy could not stand on his own. Now he is that irresponsible brat, like trayvon, knowing no limits.
I can’t wait for his next book....”My Momma Was A Creepy Ass Cracker”.
Zimmerman isn't the first.
Well, the MSNBC crowd praised the president for this historic speech. This will be one of his historic moments, yadda, yadda, yadda, say the MSNBC talking heads.
It’s all well and good to have dialogues about race and profiling and all that. If the president were to be fair and balanced, he would have to say that disproportionate numbers of young black men give us all good reason to be fearful. Is it profiling, or situational awareness and the desire to protect yourself, which causes women to be wary of young black men?
For what it’s worth, as far as women are concerned, some women have told me that they are careful around men just in general. It’s not just fear of crime, but also fear that men may think that women are sending certain signals and all that, if you get my meaning. Some women are cautious around all strange men, not just black men. So are these women profiling all men, and if so, is that bigoted against men, or just situational awareness and concern for their own personal safety?
Who are you more afraid of? A group of black men who appear to be gang members? A group of black men in suits and ties with briefcases? A group of Asian men? A group of white men who appear to be gang members? A group of Hispanic men in suits and ties? Random men, of any age just loitering in public? Randon men, who appear to be out on a date with a wife or girlfriend? Random men, who are out with a group of friends of both sexes?
Situational awareness is good, in my opinion. If we’re going to say that it’s racist, then I guess we have to plead guilty in Al Sharpton’s kangaroo court.
Have a dialog about race but NOT scandals.
Obama is a cure for Insomnia
Holder's failure to act against the Black Panthers for election intimidation in 2008, was a pretty clear demonstration of that fact. His endeavor to use the Justice Department as a receptacle for gathering whatever anyone in the the public could dig up against George Zimmerman, after the acquittal, shows that that hatred extended even to someone who was only half-white, but who obviously accepted traditional American values that include personal responsibility for one's community.
The President, for his part, has continually shown his disrespect for the traditional American values, identified with the Anglo/Celtic roots of settler America, and sat in the pews for 20 years, of a Church in which the Pastor "damned America."
Hate & moral cowardice may both be base, but they should not be confused. Nor should anyone ignore the evidence of what drives these two men.

Blacks kill blacks.
Clean up your own mess.
Then we can talk.
Until then, STFU 0bambi / Holder.
Taxpayers still do that.
EVERYTHING is race with him. He got his education crying about race. He got his start in politics crying about race. He got elected POTUS crying about race. Every issue that he confronts he manages to somehow view it through a racial prism.
He is truly BAlack Obama.
home
Quite correct.
The feeling is mutual. I despise Obama and Holder.
Talking to the race-baiter reverends is pointless. They are completely brainwashed and “debate” is not listed in their skill-set.
They only know threats and filabuster. It’s like arguing with a stop sign.
0bama is a coward. Classic passive-aggressive narcissist. He’ll come out and make an inflammatory statement, or some big speech, but when there’s a reaction or some real work to do to back it up, he hides. He hides on a vacation or golf course. He hides behind a teleprompter. He hides behind his compliant media. He hides behind his bureaucratic minions and toadies on Congress. He hides behind his woman (who is quite capable of concealing him).
Not a coward, just a typical leftist using “the race issue” to expand their power and control over people.
Proxy hate for God's Law, on which these values and culture are founded.
Don’t women send out signals all the time?
For example:
- there is the steam coming out if their ears signal.
- the ‘glare of death’ signal.
- the ‘extra ice’, frosty signal.
