Agreeing with fellow MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry, Ed Schultz claimed that Detroit had filed for bankruptcy because the city had a government that was just too small. On Saturday, Schultz argued Republican policies led Detroit to become a conservative utopia.
Harris-Perry last week said what is happening in Detroit occurs when government is small enough to drown in your bathtub.
Detroit, Michigan, used to be really a symbol of industrial strength and manufacturing in this country. But, thanks to a lot of Republican policies, the city is now filing for bankruptcy, Schultz said over the weekend.

That's what I think. He's no idiot...he's just sold his soul.
After libs pour billions down ratholes, they always declare that they’ve haven’t poured enough money down the ratholes. Then they claim because enough billions/trillions weren’t poured down enough ratholes, their plans were circumvented by stingy Republicans who just didn’t care enough about people. I guarantee you if they had spent every last penny of everybody’s money, it wouldn’t be enough. Too conservative. (snicker)
This isn’t even funny, lots of people will just believe it, there needs to be some consequences for outright lies like this.
If it was forty years ago the men in the white coats would be coming for Schultzy.
He isn’t stupid. He knows if the left repeats it often enough, people will believe it.
No wonder they call him Special Ed.
Detroit needs to crash hard. It needs to be an object lesson in where ‘Rat policies lead.

There you have the automated version of Ed Schultz. Brain not included.
You obviously haven’t watched his show. Nothing but laughs.
Ok this is just too much of a coincidence to ignore any more. This is the millionth time a liberal has accused Republicans of doing exactly the evil thing they are guilty of, only 180 degrees out of phase. There has to be something psychological to it.
Sort of like Projection when you accuse someone of doing what you are doing, only in this case of course it is Detroit having too MUCH socialistic, central control government, redistributing wealth and choking business until they just leave, along with the crony capitalism and corruption we have seen in Detroit grow over the last 20 years of the last 60 the Democrats have controlled local government.
Is he drinking the same Tequila that Geraldo drinks?
This amount of tortured reasoning must have burnt out his brain cell.
that seems to be what the left does anymore, they just create their own reality to suit their whims.
bkmk
Do these people even hear what they are saying? Idoits!
In a sense he is correct, the current government is too small. This is because liberals (and most republican politicians) borrow all the future for the present and then when the borrowing cannot be sustained then government must downsize. The problem is the shady deals and borrowing over long periods of time.
It’s a shame the state shut down all those mental institutions and released all the patients onto the streets. Now poor Ed has no place to go except the top of some subway grate.
Ed's head full of lead (Pb)
