Former RNC chair Michael Steele likened Sandy Hook to the Trayvon Martin case during a heated discussion on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday.
He likened the two as incidents that should have inspired legislative change, but didn't because Obama failed to lead.

The only comparison I see is that most of the victims at Sandy Hook were toddlers and the Martin kid was a toddler. That’s about it.

I agree with him, they're exactly the same. In both cases, rights (and oxygen) thieves pounce upon them as opportunities to steal rights from people far superior to them in every way (intellectually, morally, not employed in government as they are, etc.), using events the facts of which do NOTHING to support their lying criminal rights-infringement schemes.
The Zimmerman-Martin assault and battery and the Sandy Hook murder were opposites. At Sandy Hook, only the evil thug was armed, and 26 innocents died because it was a gun-free zone. In Sanford, only the decent person had a firearm, so the evil thug died instead of killing an innocent person in hand-to-hand (head-to-concrete?) combat. If Michael Steele can’t tell the difference, I don’t want him helping to run the GOP.
We do need better gun laws, starting with a repeal of most existing gun laws. It is past time to get rid of all laws that violate the Second Amendment.

IMO, Steele needs to watch Bill Whittle’s video on Trayvon before he opens his mouth.

And this guy is a Republican?? I expect this garbage from a Dem, but a supposed Republican is really sickening..to think when he was running for RNC Chair I thought he was a good guy, I was wrong
