The Zimmerman-Martin assault and battery and the Sandy Hook murder were opposites. At Sandy Hook, only the evil thug was armed, and 26 innocents died because it was a gun-free zone. In Sanford, only the decent person had a firearm, so the evil thug died instead of killing an innocent person in hand-to-hand (head-to-concrete?) combat. If Michael Steele can’t tell the difference, I don’t want him helping to run the GOP.
We do need better gun laws, starting with a repeal of most existing gun laws. It is past time to get rid of all laws that violate the Second Amendment.
