A former senior policy analyst at the National Council of La Raza supervised the drafting of a U.S. Senate bill, passed on June 27, that would give an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants a path to citizenship if the House of Representatives goes along. And La Raza figures to enlarge its budget significantly, thanks to slush funds buried deep in the legislation.
A bombshell report published Thursday by Investor's Business Daily shows that the immigration reform bill would set aside hundreds of millions of dollars for La Raza and other liberal immigrants' rights groups, which the federal government would contract to assist future U.S. citizens with applications and offer them legal advice.

Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress. Wow - I believe you’re right. Can’t remember if it’s Dick Morris or John Bachelor, but one of them always says ‘follow the money’ when people’s behavior doesn’t seem to make sense.
I knew it was bad, but I’m only now beginning to realize how far down the river we’ve been sold.
In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given to La Raza charter schools in the form of US Dept of Education grants.
LA RAZA schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.
In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce the teaching of murder and violence in US public schools, the federally-funded La Raza organization operates 100 charter schools across America. A selection:

Driving back from Tulsa last night, I was able to catch Levin’ s show where he read from the bill. By the first commercial break I was steaming. By the second one, I was white knuckling the wheel, by the 3rd one I was looking for any vehicles transporting big groups of Mexicans. I-44 is a major corridor for drugs and illegals. Mark had me so angry by the time I was halfway back to Saint Louis, I had to turn it off. Some of the things in this bill are appalling. Just hideously seditious. Anyone voting for this bill is actively and knowingly undermining the security, sovereignty and culture in America. They should all be shot.
I was so angry I was shaking last night. Those who are caught using fraudulent documents (SSN, drivers license, passport, etc) get two freebies before being denied access to amnesty. But not really, getting caught a 3rd time, is supposed to be prosecuted, but the criminal can appeal, or get a stay via a process of intervention through the DHS secretary filed on behalf of the criminal by one one of NGO’s “. Further, these NGOs can take “custody” of the criminal with DHS’s approval pending appeal!

On my tooth fairy wish list is the House holds public hearings on the Senate amnesty bill, dragged out and lots of press conferences.
