The White House is “race-bating” the Trayvon Martin case as part of a Democratic Party plan,” according to the author of a new book that analyzes how Barack Obama defeated Mitt Romney despite being mired in economic crisis and scandal.
Jerome R. Corsi, author of “What Went Wrong: The Inside Story of the GOP Debacle of 2012 … and How It Can Be Avoided Next Time,” said that the Democratic operatives who ran Obama’s 2012 presidential case are “whipping up the Democratic base into a frenzy over race.” “Why? It’s simple: Making Trayvon Martin a martyr wipes off the front page news embarrassing to Obama, like the impending Fort Hood murder trial,” Corsi said.
Corsi stressed that the radial leftist operatives that ran Obama’s campaign plan not just to win elections but to destroy the Republican Party and eliminate all political opposition from conservatives.

I don’t believe they actually intend to win a civil rights case. They intend to talk it up and milk the false outrage and then they’ll either drop it or lose while blaming whitey and then they’ll milk that outrage.
I am not sure that Trayvol is such a big winning issue for Dems. Zimmerman does not present himself as a racist (to those on the fence) and 99% of blacks vote Democrat anyway, so their threat to vote Dem is an empty one. There arguments on MSNBC that Zimm was acting racist are very lame (now they say 'fear of criminals'='racism')
Sure Holder can score points w them NOW by saying he is investigating it, but eventually the rubber will meet the road and Holder will not be able to produce on Zimmerman, as the above shows

Blacks will always vote 95% for the Democrat, although some support will fall off if the candidate is white, for sure.
This strategy of stirring up racial hatred has a huge potential to backfire and turn off moderates who just want everyone to get along.

Yeah sounds good on paper until you take into account 0’s team of trained assasins, NSA monitoring, IRS intimidation, and other teams of associates willing to do his thuggery and take out his entire family in an “unfortunate traffic accident”
The point of the article is that the Martin trial will supplant and distract from the Ft. Hood shooting trial, which was dragged on for years so as not to damage Obama in the 2012 election. Now Holder will continue to divert attention to Martin, perhaps up until the midterms so they can turn out black voters. The CBC is already preparing a number of bills related to the shooting and will introduce them shortly--just in time for the 50th anniversary of the MLK March on Washington.

While black turnout was very high 2012 there were many other groups that came out in 2012 to vote Obama that this wont motivate nearly as much.
Those groups are disappointed that Obama has produced so little so far so Dems need something to motivate them.
I think it is also about Gun Control and keeping Obama’s serial crises off the front page. Even if the DOJ eventually lets it drop, they will spin it to be ‘because of whitey.’ Meanwhile, the racist libbie base will be consolidated and encouraged that they hold the moral high ground, conservatives will once again be marginalized as racists, the Republican Party will be left floundering.
And Obama got a month-long break from being skewered for his idiocy. Win-win.
Considering that every, single word hussein utters is nothing more nor less than a political tactic, this headline should come as no big shocker.
Don’t worry. Obama will have his amnesty by December and the GOP will implode. If any form of amnesty passes—I define any legislation that allows the lawbreakers to stay and work here—then I will boycott the midterms and never vote for a Rep again.
Bating, they’re masters at it, to be sure.
