Just another elitist whom many people will vote for simply because there’s an “r” after her name.

Did you read the article? It Quotes Alan Simpson as saying it would tear the Wyoming GOP apart.

I guess in today’s GOP, even being a moderate means you are way too far to the right. Cheney doesn’t agree with the GOP on any issues, except she thinks we should bomb every nation on earth in to smithereens, which seems like a position the Dems are all too comfortable with.

This will not be an easy race for her. Despite Dick’s great popularity many will see her as a carpetbagger. Plus, there are Republicans who have paid their dues to move up to statewide office that won’t be too happy with her.

You are confusing Liz Cheney with her sister Mary. Liz is not the homosexual dyke. I think Elizabeth Cheney Perry would be better than Enzi.

Is the Republican incumbent more or less conservative than her?

Enzi's pretty conservative. More than most and not as conservative as some. Cheney wants to breeze into Wyoming, buy the primary win, and go to the senate without really having to work at it. I don't think that's right.

This has been in the works for some time.

Yeah, a whole six or seven months at least. That's as long as she's lived in Wyoming.

But I thought Enzi was going to retire. Does she figure he needs a nudge?

He's never made a secret of his intention to run for re-election.

He is a bit less conservative than she is, but not hugely so. The BIG difference is he is a milquetoast in providing a battle against the libs; he's timid, and very squishy. I never heard his name until she started saying she might run for his seat.

She will be closer to Cruz, will campaign and speak for conservatism, and likely shake the Senate up. I like that idea.

MARK LEVIN just said, let me be the first to endorse Liz Cheney. He said we need new young fresh faces. He is really mad at the usual R’s in the Senate.
