If our dear Barack had a caring bone left in his body, I’d think he’d appeal for the violence to be called off even if he utterly disagrees with how the case came out. There was some ambiguous stuff in the account but the story is at least as compatible with a very watchful and patient GZ who did not threaten TM except in TM’s inflamed mind and who even after the attack started would have rather had the attack stopped by police than kill TM himself, as it is with the “brute murderer” scenarios that have been floated. This is a fellow who earlier protested police brutality towards black people and who voted for Barack for president, for goodness’ sake; that hardly looks like some kind of crypto-racist. And the legal standard for criminal conviction in the US is very clear. You don’t get to send someone away here because you loathe an unprovable possibility to the bottom of your heart.
But anyhow, sometimes evil does have to grow in order that we will notice it.

In a way, I don’t blame a lot of the blacks who are infuriated by the outcome of the Zimmerman trial. They are fed a constant stream of misinformation by the media. If I watched the news on a lot of channels, I’d hear a completely different rendition of the “facts” than what came out at the trial. I’d hear how an armed Zimmerman stalked Trayvon based solely on the young man’s skin color. There’s simply no evidence that that is what happened, but that’s the meme the media is spreading.
I think the media is THRILLED by all of this, including the riots. Scumbags!
