Also, the “burglary tool” was a screwdriver. I have several my own self.

almost all burglars use a screwdriver. it also becomes a stabbing weapon and is used often to murder people.

Yup, me too. However, I tended not to carry it to school with a bunch of jewelry that clearly wasn’t mine.
It is thinking like yours that helped generate this whole mess.

Also, the burglary tool was a screwdriver. I have several my own self. As a teenager, did you often carry your screwdriver in a bag with several expensive women's bracelets?
To: Sherman Logan
The police often describe common tools as burglar tools depending who has it and where they find them.
Google 'police burglar tools'

Also, the burglary tool was a screwdriver. I have several my own self. And if a police officer asked you if the screwdriver you had with you was yours, would you say: "It isn't mine! A friend I can't tell you about told me to keep it for him. This is not my screwdriver!"
A screwdriver you readily say is yours is just a screwdriver.
A screwdriver whose ownership and provenance you hotly dispute is a screwdriver that was used for a nonstandard purpose.

Do you stick them in your pocket when wobbling about high as a kite, casing joints in the rain and fog?

What? You just trying to be contrarian?
Yes lots of us have screwdrivers, but did you take yours to school at 17 along with jewelry you obviously did not purchase?

Do you carry your screwdriver around in a backpack with stolen jewelry that “belongs to a friend?”

Do you sharpen your screwdrivers like St. Skittles did? I’d like to know because if you do, you need watching as well.

Ya, I don’t think a manufacturer will label the dual use of their product as a burglary tool... just like a baseball bat wouldn’t be listed as a dual use item for bludgeoning.

Also, the burglary tool was a screwdriver. I have several my own self. Context is everything. I had access to my dad's screwdrivers while in high school, but never had an excuse to take one to school along with a pile of women's jewelry.
The kid was a thief, I've no reasonable doubt on that.

Make sure that you keep them separate from the loot.
