Mark O'Mara, lead defense attorney for George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting case is speaking freely about Martin's criminal background now that his client has been acquitted.
Appearing on CNN's Headline News channel Monday morning, O'Mara was asked if Zimmerman has regrets over targeting a boy walking home without any ill intent.
O'Mara mentioned that Martin was under the influence of marijuana and that he was spotted near a home that had recently been burglarized.
O'Mara went on to say that Martin had recently been "caught with the fruits of a burglary." A reference to the watch, jewelry and burglary tool found in Martin's backpack by school authorities several months before.
With that comment, O'Mara is serving notice to those who will pursue Zimmerman in civil court that the barriers to evidence in the criminal case of Martin's recent troubled history before his death will not pertain in civil court.

Last I heard, the items he was caught with were suspicious, but burglary or receiving stolen goods had not been proven.

Also, the “burglary tool” was a screwdriver. I have several my own self.
Yep, he’s putting those morons on notice. I also read that there was a burglar tool, a slim jim, found in the bushes where Martin was hiding.
the laptop and jewelry from people in that area, along with tools commonly used for burglary, all in his backpack. combined with behavior of peering into windows of homes in the area to see if anyone was home.
almost all burglars use a screwdriver. it also becomes a stabbing weapon and is used often to murder people.

And the constant fighting by Martin, as his way of life, is most pertinent.
The race exploiters need to know, if they continue to persecute Zimmerman there is no hold back on T Martin’s activities.
And I pray God’s protection on everyone connected to the Zimmerman cause, as this ugliness festers and mestasticizes.

And to all these Hollywood Maggots who claim they’re Trayvon, I say prove it: walk down your driveway, open your 10ft high wrought-iron gates and chain them OPEN until you get the justice you were denied.
Yup, me too. However, I tended not to carry it to school with a bunch of jewelry that clearly wasn’t mine.

It was that M-DSPD internal affairs investigation which revealed in October 2011 Trayvon Martin was searched by School Resource Officer, Darryl Dunn. The search of Trayvon Martin’s backpack turned up at least 12 pcs of ladies jewelry, and a man’s watch, in addition to a flat head screwdriver described as “a burglary tool”.
When Trayvon was questioned about who owned the jewelry and where it came from, he claimed he was just holding it for a “friend”. A “friend” he would not name.
On October 21st 2011 a burglary took place a few blocks from Krop Senior High School where Trayvon Martin attended. The stolen property outlined in the Miami-Dade Police Report (PD111021-422483) matches the descriptive presented by SRO Dunn in his School Police report 2011-11477.

Interesting discussion on unreported crimes in the schools led to Police Investigator General (IG). The intent was to minimize criminality in the schools.
The items found in Saint Trayvon’s possession matched the description of items stolen in burglaries near his school. That much has been confirmed by police.

10:20 a.m. ET: Serino says “these [expletives] punks always get away” and “[expletive] punks” was said in a matter-of-fact kind of way. A few days after the shooting, Serino says a tool was found in the bushes behind one of the witness’ homes.
“It was a piece of an awning, I believe it was a piece of a window, piece of hardware basically. It looked like a slim jim,” said Serino. He explains that this tool is used to break into windows.
He had twelve different items of women's jewelry that did not belong to him.
When asked where he got them, he said a friend asked him to hang onto them for him.
When asked which friend, he would not say.
So, if you have common sense, you are left with two possible conclusions.
One, the friend does not exist and he is lying to conceal his theft.
Two, the friend exists, in which case he is clearly receiving stolen goods.
